Had emergency dental needs on a Friday at 4:45PM! Not the most convenient time for a dentist, however pain waits for no one.
We drove to a couple of other local offices, called three other dentists and they were either closed or too busy to take a late-hour emergency.
Dr. Skousen's office, answered the phone, was interested in the problem and prepped for our arrival, and stayed late to see that we could be helped. Additionally, making room in their schedule for the proper procedures to be done the following day when more time permitted.
Having never been in a Sunrise Dental office before, I was pleasantly impressed and have since made Dr. Skousen our primary family dentist. Everyone was extremely friendly and thorough. It might sound strange, but it was actually an enjoyable dental experience, save the pain.
Lastly, it was great to sit and discuss dental needs and plans with a dentist, rather than simply be told what needs to be done.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Laura B.Chelan, WA0222Oct 4, 2022
I've been coming here for about 10 years! The past year I have had more then just a cleaning! Best team ever, they work well together and Doctor Chen is always so gentle and kind! I can't say enough good about Sunrise dental!

I was so nervous to go to the dentist after not having been in for a few years, but everyone was really nice and they were able to take care of a couple fillings on my first visit! Very friendly staff :) Also great taste in music! Their pandora radio station was playing all of my favorites- Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Sublime...

The above statement about 'wrong tooth' from Henry G is FALSE. Patient presented with tooth pain and exam. We removed nerve out of tooth in pain, referred him to a specialist to finish the treatment. We THOROUGHLY educated him on the importance of seeing the specialist to finish the treatment on the tooth. Patient did not follow up with the recommended specialist, which had about a month response time for best possible result. Patient did not go to Endodontist until too late.
After failing to visit specialist, patient called our office many times in a contentious manner, of which we noted in his chart, about us being at fault. For this lack of compliance and borderline harassment we released said patient.
We take pride for going out of our way to see patients after hours, even on weekends, especially for emergencies. However, if a patient does not listen to our professional advise and see other specialists to finish treatment than we have no other option but to ask they be dismissed.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
