It's worth driving to Pickering to get the best homemade pies. I'm just too lazy to make desserts for Thanksgiving dinner. My brother recommended getting pies at Tiano's. It's a small clean place full of organic products from variety of milk, fruits and vegetables, frozen wagyu kabobs etc. So many choices! I bought three pies - apple crumble, plain apple and blueberry pies. But of course, can't have pies without ice cream. I walked next door at Bruno's Signsture bought Kawartha black Raspberry thunder and store made Sage Onions pork sausages for my turkey stuffings. I'll be back to shop again to both of these stores. Highly recommended Tiano's.

When it comes to organic snacks and baked good, Tiano's is the place to go. AMAZING butter tarts and to die for banana bread. Go on Saturday when everything is freshly made.
And while you're there do yourself a favour and pick up a bag of the Chiplote Sweet potato chips. You will thank me!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 164673359427Jun 26, 2011First to Review
Tiano's Quality Produce has a good selections of organic produces that are sourced locally, make it a choice of anyone in the area looking for a healthy and ethical alternative.
Good selections of fresh vegetables and fruits and a lot of dried products and sauces too.
Of course there is always a price tag attached to anything that is organic, healthy and ethic... but not only prices, sometimes taste wise might have to compromise.....and when it taste too healthy..:)
Organic Sourdough Bread ($4.99) sugar free with active beneficial cultures which made my Yelp friend went ugh.. dry and even I think it tasted way to healthy for my taste...
I just have 2 slices of the bread.. I wondering what happen to the rest of them... maybe some pigeons and squirrels might have a healthy dietary dinner that evening....Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Colin M.Pickering, Canada324618Sep 22, 2017
How do people shop here? The majority of the products have no price tags on it or price labels on the selves. You find out when you pay for it?
There is a huge variety of products to choose from but I like to how how much.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Shalini B.Pickering, Canada57Jul 21, 2018
Best organic fruits and veggies and other items without the long lineups and rushing shoppers of large grocery chains.

The organic produce I can't find at the Superstore by my place I can find here for a reasonable price. A small place but a huge selection of organic and natural food and produce. It sure beats driving to Markham's Whole Foods without paying Whole Foods prices. I'm just happy I have a place to shop for fresh organic produce!
