We were looking forward to trying this place. It's very close and we pass it often. We got out to look at their menu asked the man a question ( I asked if he had pork, carnitas, puerco. ( I asked for all 3) Yeah I know that's Mexican and maybe he is from elsewhere. But that's what I grew up calling it. He acted like I was talking crazy and was BEYOND rude.
Guess they don't want new business
It's good anyway el sabor de Puebla is always great!

Unassuming shack serving up delicious tacos and apparently subs . Small parking lot . A few outdoor covered tables . Fair prices .

Stopped by a few times and I've tried the campechano , shrimp , Al pastor ,beef asada and chorizo tacos .
My least favorite was the shrimp and I don't recommend . My favorite was the campechano : a mix of chorizo , Al pastor and asada-- order this !

Docking a star because the bathroom was gross - full of roaches .

They cook it up fast so if you're looking for a quick , delicious meal Tiki Subs is the spot .

Just had the hot Italian sub. Oh my gosh. It was some kind of delicious. The bread was served warm and unbelievably fresh. Toasted on the inside with just the right amount of crunch on the outside crust. All of the ingredients were so fresh as well, from the lettuce, onion, sliced banana peppers, tomato, and provolone cheese. The meats were freshly sliced and flavorful with the right proportions of each. Topped off with the perfect amount of oil and vinegar. I gave it a 10/10. Will be back.

Who wants to eat at a permanent food truck on the side of the road ? Not me !
They do have a small, shaded area a few feet from the order window, where you can look at the traffic on the road.
Sorry, not my kind of place.

We live in the area and have driven past Tiki Subs saying we need to try that place for some time now. We stopped for dinner last night and it is amazing. Let's be clear, it's a road side stand with some tables to eat, but is great!! It feels like a true roadside stand in Mexico, which is a huge compliment!! We had the street tacos and mole enchiladas. I am picky about mole but this was really good! The tacos were awesome as well. Get some chips and salsa too! The salsa is truly amazing! They have Jarritos sodas available but no beer. This will become a regular place for us and good Mexican is hard to find in Fort Myers. A true mom and pop stand that needs to visited!! The staff is friendly and great too!! Be patient because if it's busy the guy taking the orders is helping the cook the food!! I'm trying the burritos next, probably tomorrow...

      Incredibly RUDE!!
Called after 1 pm to order takeout, should've been simple. I wanted their 4 taco deal and a taco salad. He was highly annoyed, talked over me, and when I asked the price, it was almost double. At this point he was yelling into the phone, then he hung up on me. What the heck??! Definitely don't need to give this place my money! :/

A great roadside stop with authentic Mrxican food! Nice, friendly staff. Haven't tried the subs, but the Mexican food is great!

Tiki Subs has become my new favorite lunch stop. Their menu consists of traditional sub sandwiches and mexican... fare? I dunno. Tacos, burritos, quesadillas. The usual suspects.

It's such a small hole in the wall but that's what makes it great. Stop by there at noon any day and you'll find a meriad of working class people and I feel like that's what they cater to.

I don't know the gentleman's name who takes the orders but he's phenomenal. If he catches you trying to throw away your own garbage he'll stop you and demand to do it himself. I've always assumed he's the owner but if he isn't he deserves a hefty chunk of the earnings every year.

I spend my day in the locals homes and have suggested this place for lunch to many. One customer brought me Subway for lunch one day and I told them Tiki Subs is not only a better deal but the quality blows any other chain sandwich shop away.

Seriously, check it out. Portions are insane. $6 gets you half a sub, chips and a drink. The tacos are the best I've ever had. Usually get one while I wait for my to-go entree. I suggest you do the same.

This is the type of small bushiness I like to visit for lunch. It's a little sandwich shack that also offers tasty tacos. On my first visit there I tried the philly cheese steak sub and tacos al pastor. The tacos had a slight crisp from being seared on the flat-top. They were full of fresh flavor and garnished with cilantro and lime. The philly cheese steak took about 10 minutes to come out. It came with juicy diced steak, grilled onions and fresh peppers. it was delicious, however I do wish it did came with a little more meat considering the price.
Overall, its a great little spot worth adding to my lineup of workday lunch options. I'd love to see more small places like this popping up around town.
