UCHealth Urgent Care - Highlands Ranch

We've used this spot a few times, having mostly good experiences. Staff is usually attentive and friendly, getting us in without too much of a wait.
Facilities are newer, don't always get an actual Dr, but the PAs are quite nice and seem to know their stuff.
I've said 'usually' a couple times because we have had a bad visit with new front desk staff who didn't know what she was doing and we ended up leaving, but that was the exception to the rule.
Great option to have locally and recommend it when you need to get checked out quickly.

I've been very unfortunate enough to have been here on a few occasions for the most random reasons. One time I came in because I decided to put a hole in my thumb that required stitching. The PA did an excellent job of stitching it, and it healed very nicely. At least I have a cool scar for the rest of my life. I also came in because my body decided to give me an infection, so that was fun.

I've since made this my primary care doctor and I've been very happy with their honesty and attentive care. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because like everywhere else, there's probably a wait time. I didn't particularly enjoy bleeding out in the waiting room for a couple of hours.

Leah the PA is thebomb.com. The entire staff was great from beginning to end. I'm used to waiting hours in urgent care. It actually went really fast. We were in and out in under 40 minutes with meds, flu/COVID test, and a doctor's note. Has to be some kind of record. Highly recommend. Really clean. The waiting area gives you some options if you want to avoid people. Huge shout out to the front desk person working today. Some guy walks in and says his daughter has RSV. He thinks he has it and of course wasn't wearing a mask. She asked him to put one on and thankfully he obliged. Either way, good catch. Really painless experience. Best with an urgent care I've ever had. If you do have to come in, definitely go here. There are three urgent care facilities next to me. This one had the better reviews. Glad we chose this space!

Seriously weak offering of services. You can basically just get bandaids and aspirin at this place.

In this day and age of uncertainty, there is one thing that is for sure. And that is you will get excellent care here! I have been seeing Dr. Lowthrop for almost 7 years, and even followed him from his last office. And I have never been disappointed. He is attentive, caring, and makes sure the patient's worries will be addressed. He has helped me through a lot of my medical issues. And I will continue to come see him until I can't. The UC Health office staff and nurses are phenomenal too! You can also tell they are here to serve the patients, and not just process them as quick as possible. I love EVERYTHING about UC Health. And I will always refer family and friends to this location. Even my father, who has hated DRS for over 50 years, LOVES Dr. Lowthrop and the staff at this location. Plus, they offer urgent car and primary in the same location! This should be your first stop for non emergencies medical issues!
