Upscale Nails

Mya is my girl! She always get me right. I only go to Mya, so I'm not sure about the other nail techs.

I arrived at 9:45am for a gel pedicure and fill. I didn't leave until around 2. I didn't complain. the next day my pedicure has bubbles on both big toes. I arrive at the shop at 5. Tran has taken two appointments and made no effort to repair my feet. she keeps saying I have appointments I'm sorry. so how much longer am I supposed to wait?

I went in to get a pedicure. I got there at 5:20pm the lady said just sign in and we'll call you soon as it's your turn. I sat in my car till 6:30pm no call. I finally just went home. Its 7:40 and still no call. Their system is trash. And they don't have good customer service. I guess I'll just ride out to Aurora Road like I always do. That's my fault for being lazy.

Cynthia is no longer there, but for some reason, they only say she's on vacation. I've been there 3 times since she left, first time was ok. Second time, I had a 5 o'clock appt with Maya. I signed in as instructed, 15 mins early. Didn't get seen for 2 hrs, even after I told them at 6, I had an appt. I was finally seen at 6:45. Maya had worked on the same client the whole time I waited, a mani, then a pedi. That person was a walk-in, who got there just before MY appointment with her. Why would you start a walkin-in, with an appointment on the way? She gave ME a rush job bc they were closing and I was the last client there. Not even a discount for the oversight. Third time, I signed in and was told to wait in my car until they call me. Nobody ever called. I left after an hour and a half. No call ever. I called them the next afternoon and said I was still waiting in my car from yesterday and was told they had got too busy. They could have said they couldn't take me when I got there or called and told me that. Once again they just left me hanging and didn't care. I will never go back there again. They have new mgmt and are trying to roll off of established customers, but are treating them very poorly. In no way is it acceptable to treat clients this way. Do NOT use this nail salon!! 0 stars!!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Do not go here. The chairs in the waiting area are completely gross. Two people got taken before me. When I got back to the pedicure station, I asked for gel polish and she insisted on trying to give me regular polish. I had to tell the girl who did my pedi to put water in the thing. As she was just going to file my toenails and paint them. Every time someone calls for information or an appointment, they make fun of you when the call ends. It's really sad actually. I really don't know how this place is still open.

So I have to update my review I recently went for some "me" time and received a mani, pedi and eyebrow wax. Unfortunately only my eyebrows lasted the test of time. The polish on my toes was decent at best and all of the acrylic on my overlay lifted! Every single nail lifted, I thought I was going to have to get a full soak off and that was a fresh set! Luckily my real nail tech saved the day, this just goes to show you never cheat on your nail technician. I think I'll just keep it to eyebrows from now on.

If Cynthia's is not doing your nails they are not going to look good. I was very disappointed with my nails.

I went here to get a pedicure with my mom and I loved it. They made my feet and nails look amazing and they were pretty nice. I i enjoyed it.

Cynthia does amazing work.. but she is rude as hell... will talk about you in her language right in your face. Every time I went in there she had a problem.. I been in the industry over 30 years. If she's running the salon try showing some professionalism. Especially since you're the first one to represent the business.. Take that rudeness somewhere else.. People come in there to relax and get pampered not deal with her attitude or rude comments in your language. Lilly is great and professional. I hope the Cynthia doesn't rub the negative vibes off on her..

I went in for shellac and a manicure. This is a common thing I get done on my nails. It was a younger male. He did not ask the shape and began cutting my nails. Mid-way through the manicure he got a video call and proceeded to talk on video chat while finishing up my manicure. Went to wash my hands n noticed he didn't even clean under the nails. Then I asked for tips on all nails except the ring finger (that would be a solid color) n he screwed up and did them all tips. It was 10.00 more then the typical place I use. I was not even home 6 hrs n the shellac chipped. Not my nail just the polish. N it's been a week and the shellac is off of 4 fingers. I've had nails break or chip because I've hit them but never just the shellac removed itself. I will never go back to this place. And the staff was very unprofessional, loud, and laughing at the customers. I have never had such a bad experience at a salon.
