Village Nail Bar

Went there for my first time and it's going to be my last. Walked in in the afternoon and there was only one lady working. She not only took forever (in the time she was working on me, there were about 6-8 clients that walked off, because again, 1 person working), but I wasn't happy with the service.

Her nails were digging into the side of my toes, my fingernail cuticles hurt, she couldn't do designs, which forced me to change my color schemes, which exasperated her (she was shaking her head and muttering to herself). I asked her to cut my fingernails and she only cut one on my right hand, two on my left, filed the rest, so they all look uneven. The acrylic powder/glue she used to seal one of my nails that's been broken is also under my nail and it won't come off...just a whole mess! The only reason I even tipped her is because I always tip, smh.

This is one of the worst nail salons that I have tried. Went for a simple gel manicure. The technician had dirty fingernails so I should have got up at first glance. He did not remove all the previous colored gel and when he was putting on the clear coats I informed him twice that he was not covering the sides of a few nails properly. I finally got up and informed them I was not paying for this horrible service. They offered to have someone else fix but I declined. First/last experience.

I went to this nail salon because I needed my nails done last minute and didn't have an appointment anywhere. This place accepted walk ins right away and didn't have any booked appts (that should have been my sign to leave).

First off, the table where they sat me was so dirty. Nail clippings everywhere. It felt so gross. Second, the lady who gave me my manicure was really strange...she kept making weird noises and faces. Sticking her tongue out at me like a deranged emoji...really uncomfortable vibes. Third, her technique was something I have never seen before. She would apply the gel paint sideways, diagonally, and vertically...GLOBBING it on my nail. Fourth, I left the salon with gel paint all over the tops of my fingers and cuticles. It has been 4 days since I got my gel manicure and the gel is already lifting at the cuticles and starting to peel.

This is the absolute WORST nail salon I have ever been to...maybe the other nail techs are good but mine was more than terrible and SO weird. Like another review said, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Really not sure how they're still in business...

I would give 0 stars, but that's not possible - so I guess 1 star will have to do. This was my first time going to this nail salon, and it was probably THEE worst experience I've had in a nail place. The lady who did my nails was on her phone for most of the time. My nails did not come out how I asked and I just didn't have the energy to stay there longer. Not to mention, she kept semi-aggressively shoving/thrusting my hand away when she wanted to do the other hand as if I wouldn't move it when she was ready to move on or if I was her child.

Needless to say it's only been ONE week and my nails are already falling off - which I've never had happen before especially within the first week.

ABSOLUTE WORST nail salon I've ever been to! I only went due to convenience and I had an event and no time to sched at my reg salon. I went on a Thurs night and the polish on one big toe was half peeled off by Saturday morning! My nail tech wreaked terribly of cigarette smoke. The person who seemed like an owner was coughing like she was quite sick. It was dark, dirty, cheap feeling and uninviting, The drying station for my feet wasn't even bolted to the floor and almost fell completely over! NEVER EVER WILL I return. They really should be ashamed and just shut down completely!

I asked for a French tip pedicure and when I got home three of my nails started peeling off. I came in the next day and asked if they could just remove it and give me a refund they argued with me and said no. The male that works there is super rude and didn't want to hear me. I explained that I had to travel from Laurel and come right after work for the inconvenience and he didn't care.i said okay can you just paint it all white instead he said no. There was no point of going back and forth with him so I just said to fix it even though I'm super unhappy with the end product. I do not recommend coming here. Service was bad, the male was super rude and started talking in his own language clearly talking about me. The lady who was fixing my nail didn't even want to fix the whole nail until I asked her why isn't she also filing the white tip off. The products they use must be low quality and cheap for it to have peeled off in less than 24 hours.

The best this about this nail bar is Siri. She does amazing pedicures and has a fun loving personality. Aside from her this isn't somewhere I would recommend to anyone. They change their prices when they feel like it. I went in for a fill in and it was $45 I came in two weeks later for the same fill in and it was $55.

It is also not a clean business when sitting at the nail desk's station there was still nail clippings from previous people on the towel she (Kate) wanted to put my hands on. Instead of using acetone to remove a broken nail she RIPPED it off my finger after I told her to stop because she was hurting me. The photo shows the result of her ripping off the acrylic. My flesh was exposed and I was in a lot of pain to the point of tears. She tried to still charge me full price for the service and I refused. She only would give a $5 discount despite her neglect of care to my nails and that I was in pain.

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I've been here several times and never had a bad experience. The staff is pleasant, make a lot of jokes with you and always offer Complimentary wine, water or a soft drink. Very clean, temperature taken, write your name down to track everyone who has been in and out of the salon. Your asked to wash your hands upon check in! This time around I had the pleasure of getting a pedicure from the amazing Danny.
A-m-a-z-i-n-g!!' My feet are so soft and he is a perfectionist. I never had someone massage so well and make sure my paint job was on point. I didn't want to leave lol. I can literally say my feet are baby soft and look very nice. I will see you in 2 weeks. Thank you Danny!!

By far one of the worst places!!!
I would rate this zero stars if there was an option but unfortunately there isn't. This has to be by far one of the worst experiences I had with a nail salon!! My friend and I were really excited to get our nails done since we haven't gotten them done in a while so we ended up going to this place. We had an image in mind as to what we wanted to get and showed the lady what we wanted. When I tell y'all it's not at all what we had hoped, it wasn't. The lady kept giving my friend and I compliments and we thought the lady was really nice, but when she had finished our nails they turned out HORRIBLE!!! The acrylic nails came out all lumpy, no shape to it at all, it was basically oval shaped instead of square, the designs were horrible, added glitter to it when I didn't even want the glitter, left nail glue all under my nails, and she ended up cutting my finger twice!!! The pamphlet says that full set acrylic nails with gel polish is $45+ and my friend and I had thought maybe the total for each would be around $50-$55 but she ended up charging us $75 for horrible nails
These nails are not at all $75 worth!!!!!
But my friend and I are not confrontational people so we just ended up paying :(
Honestly this is by far one of the worst nail salons to go to!!

I got a pedicure and it was very nice! The technicians were very attentive and kind, and they gave a really nice foot massage and the sugar scrub was great too! I would definitely come back here
