Tried again, this time was much better.

Fast friendly service and the food was good.

My dad and I stopped by Wimpy's for a late lunch on a Wednesday. It had been years since my dad had been there, and I had never been there before. There was only one other table of patrons dining when we arrived, and they already had their food. Our server was kind, but not very attentive. It took a tremendous amount of time to get a menu, place our order, and eventually get our food. With all of that being said, we enjoyed the view and each other's company.

I decided to try their Delta dip sandwich, which was essentially a French dip sandwich with au jou. My dad ordered a sandwich as well. We both ordered tater tots as our sides and I will say, the tater tots were crispy, golden perfection, and the portion size was massive. All in all, this is a decent spot to grab a bite to eat if you find yourself in the area.

Horrible is all I can say!!! I saw my food just sitting there for at least 20 min until it finally got brought to my table. Tweaker server that was attending us had an attitude and was standing around talking the whole time. How do you have one table to serve on a Monday at 2pm and can't even attend them properly!! This place is an entire joke food was nasty dry and basic and overpriced!! Never again even if it was the last place on planet earth to eat at!!!

We stopped in for lunch today (4/21/24) at about 12:30 pm. It seemed like they were out of half their menu. No French fries, no onion rings, no fish (for fish and chips), no this, no that. How do you run a restaurant that most likely thrives on its weekend business without making sure you have enough food? Especially when most of what you are out of is kept in your freezer? I can't blame the staff, this is all on the owners/management.

It's been awhile since we've been to Wimpy's so me and my mom and 2 boys (13 and 4) decided to go on a Sunday. It was surprisingly pretty empty only us and 3 other families. We waited around 10 minutes for menus and decided to go track one down. We finally had the waitress come over and take our drink orders, and place our orders. They were out of fries, fish and chips, and the Philly sandwich. Which was disappointing. We got different food than we wanted. We ended up going to the bar to pick up our drinks after 30 minutes of waiting. Which we're sitting at the bar. We didn't start eating for almost 2 hours. The waitress was seen eating pizza in the kitchen. She did not seem sorry for the wait. The 2 other families were also disappointed in the wait and lack of food. I heard another family say "I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone" The food was fine but we ate fast because we were starving and my 4 year old was losing patience. We got the check after waiting for that for another 15 minutes. We ended up asking for a discount which they gave, and the family that came in after us left because they were tired of waiting. I'm hoping they just had an off day, but I probably won't be back.

Delicious food, great service and friendly atmosphere. The only drawback was they ran out of fish & chips when we ate there.

Great. New bartender n cook n food is great. Best in town. Chicken wings. Blt turkey. Etc best. Sauces are exceptional. Don't miss out n no more short pours. People are super friendly n here to please. I'm shocke

First time here yesterday as we rode in on the Harley's and we had a great experience. From the waitress to the bar nothing but super nice workers. Food was good, I had the cheese steak sandwich which was really good. Food came out hot. We will definitely be back.

Any place on the Delta is worth four stars just for location to start with. And if it's an icon like Wimpys, it gets five! You don't just happen by Wimpy's ,you have to want to go there. And a lot of people do.

I saw a great band here and it was great. The sandy venue is beautiful along the river with plenty of shade for those hotter summer evenings.
