Amazing quality and price. Not a flakey batter but a perfect crunch, not too soft like chain chicken restaurant competitors. Side of gravy was moderately priced at only 2 dollars as opposed to 5 like gougers at other stores I'm the nearby area. To top it off its located in beautiful steveston village

$1 FRIED CHICKEN July 30 & 31

* $1 fried chicken drumsticks (MAX 3)
* Add-on 1: $7 meal deal (2PC + choice of side: macaroni or fries)

Each batch is freshly made to order, so you get that crunchy flavoursome exterior with a nuisance of black pepper on the nose, plus plump and juicy chicken meat on the inside. Everything is well seasoned, making them super tasty and mouth watering. So don't miss this chance!

I'm always on the hunt for good fried chicken, and Win Win Chick-N had been on my radar for some time. Last week, I finally got to visit them at their Steveston location.

I received a media tasting package that consisted of the five piece fried chicken, poutine, a side of Filipino-style macaroni, and an individual-sized ube cake for dessert.

Starting with the star of the show, the fried chicken did not disappoint. The exterior was crispy and made a satisfying crunching sound as I bit into it. I appreciated that the batter was light, yet coated each piece entirely. Everything was seasoned nicely too. Inside, the chicken was super juicy. While it was a little greasy towards the end, I think Win Win Chick-N is much better than the chain restaurants around my neighbourhood!

The sides were quite filling as well. I tried the macaroni first, because the Filipino version was new to me. This dish surprised me. I was expecting the pasta to be cheesy, but the flavour profile was much sweeter. The sausages helped counterbalance the sugary taste, but there weren't enough of them in my opinion. For that reason, I preferred the poutine more.

With crispy, evenly-cut French fries; fresh, bouncy cheese curds; and an umami-packed gravy that I'd want first dibs on if served at a holiday meal, the poutine was a home run.

Don't skip out on dessert either! Admittedly, I had my doubts about how good cake from a fried chicken joint would be, but what I got was absolutely delicious. The ube cake was moist and fluffy, and the icing wasn't too heavy, so each bite tasted light as a cloud.

Overall, my experience at Win Win Chick-N was good! I want to try more from their menu.

Yoooooooo this chicken was finger licking delicious. Just like the name, this spot is a win win. Partner and I visited Canada over the Christmas weekend, super stoked they were open on Christmas Day. Location is in a great area near the pier with lots of other great shops around.

We heard this little fried chicken store usually has huge line ups so we were lucky (or unlucky) that it was pouring rain and we were the only ones there ordering food.

This Win Win is located near the Wharf in south Richmond which gives you a nice stroll around on a good day, forgiving the fact that this location is take out only.

Their chicken is hand breaded, seasoned and fried to a golden crisp. The chicken's seasoning is amazing, they're crispy and extremely juicy. Probably one of the better fried chicken outlets in Richmond.


I'd definitely come back when I'm in town and order a bucket to myself!

The chicken was A+! Super delicious! Their mac n cheese is really good and their ice cream is to die for.

Win Win Chicken Dinner... saw a promo of $1 chicken, gave them a call... it was $1 per drumstick. Called to place an order of 25 pieces of drumsticks. It was the most torturous drive home, that smell of chicken was heavenly! We had the drumsticks, very very well marinated, the marination went right inside the chicken. The coating was very light, some may find it oily, just dab the chicken with paper towel. It was fine for me... didn't want to remove the taste... all in all.. it was indeed win win!

I got takeout (which was all that was possible in October 2021 during the pandemic) -- 10 piece plus side on a Groupon. Server was friendly, and the wait was not very long.

The chicken was very good (crispy, not unusually oily, not overdone), even when reheated in the air fryer at home. The fries were average.

All in all, I would return here if I were in the area, but Steveston is a haul for us. We've also been to the Win-Win in Vancouver.

The Groupon was a must as far as I'm concerned; otherwise, this is a bit on the pricey side IMO, though to be fair, I've found that to be true of fried chicken in Vancouver generally. YMMV.
