I came here for the crispy chicken sandwich mainly which was probably one of the best I've had. My problem with fried chicken sandwiches normally are that most of them use a piece of chicken breast which is usually a little dry as it's hard to cook it evenly through so that it's moist.
However, both mine and my friend's had a large piece cooked to perfection and fresh to order. I also loved that the buns are toasted which not every place does. I also had their fried chicken pieces which I'd say are pretty standard across most restaurants.
I'd definitely come back for their crispy chicken sandwich. Also, just be mindful that sometimes they close an hour earlier due to covid times if business isn't busy towards the last hour.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jul 24, 2022
Their fried chicken are slightly disappointing. I like the flavor but it is super greasy and soggy (especially the one sitting at the bottom of the box). We saw a BOGO deal (5 pieces of chicken with a side and a pop for $20.75 ). So in total, we got 2 sides (Filipino macaroni and mashed potatoes), 10 pieces of chicken (leg and thigh), 2 pop and on top we ordered a side of gravy and the Ube Flan dessert.
The ube flan was super delicious. I would definitely order the ube flan again. The mashed potatoes was not bad the Filipino macaroni was ok. Nothing special or that would make me come back for it.
The good thing about their fried chicken is that it was tender and juicy. So that was good. Their chicken drumsticks and thighs are on the smaller end.
Like I said their chicken is nothing to rave about. I had way better fried chicken in the past. Their fried chicken were ok (just not wow).Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Apr 26, 2021
One line review: It has its charms, but only average overall.
We had heard the hype about Win Win and were hopeful. But compared to similar options in the city, this is middling.
We ordered:
- chicken sandwich (spicy)
- chicken sandwich (regular)
- fries
On the positive side, the chicken was crispy and seasoned. Neither sandwich was spicy, and that was a disappointment to us. The chicken was breast meat, and predictably, a little on the dry side. I appreciate the dietary advantages of the breast, but so far, our preference has been for thigh meat sandwiches. The bun was better than average and held up pretty well, but that's scant praise. Portion was decent but not large.
Overall, we thought it was fine. But there was nothing special about this sandwich. Too bad. This place is closer than the options we like better; they stay open late; and the parking was free. The young woman who served us was pleasant and efficient.
We'll come back at least one more time to have the chicken (pieces of chicken, rather than the sandwich).
Bottom line: The was okay, but at least with respect to chicken sandwiches, there are better options in Vancouver.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Aug 14, 2021
GROUPON coupon led to me Win Win Chick-N!
There are relatively good deals from groupon that led me to this Chicken joint.
There is street parking along on Main street, but I took a chance to see if there was parking offered at the chicken joint. YES! 1 HOUR FREE PARKING. I forgot to mention I was parking in one of their spots as the sandwich board and wall indicated to left staff know.
I got the 10 pieces of Chicken (mix of drumsticks and thighs) and got the French Fries on the side. Best to order ahead of time to reduce the amount of waiting upon arrival. Ordered about half hour in advance and waited only about 5 minutes or less.
There's a heat wave happening and the air is hazy. To reduce exposure, closed all windows and masked up. Driving was chaotic and I was literally sweating and I felt being inside and outside, I was enclosed in a sauna. I hope the weather clears up.
Anyway, got home to munch on the chicken. Delicious texture of the chicken. I didn't find it too greasy. The french fries are acceptable, although I had noticed a few of the pieces of fries I had were clumped together. Overall, I enjoyed the chicken and I have left overs to eat later.
Definitely worth trying if you haven't been. There's a chicken competitor across the street Hi Five Chicken. I hope their neighbour is nice to each other.
Yum yum, chicken dinner!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 9, 2021
My first time going to this little place located on a corner street and I'm glad I tried it out.
This is basically a take out place as there is no tables and chairs inside. The service is super friendly and helpful. I ordered the fried chicken consisting of legs and thighs with a side of macaroni. The legs were on the smaller side but the price was reflective and not expensive. The chicken was super crispy without being oily. I also like the slight spice to it.
There is metered parking on the side street and a few free parking on the right side of the store.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Nov 12, 2021
Not a fan sorry :( i personally like churchs and duffin more. The poutine is not worth it and too expensive for the quality and the size. The chicken is too oily for its type so it wasnt that good and especially gotta wait for 20 minutes for the chicken so wasnt worth the price time and coming. Not recommended from me. Cheers!

Win Win Chicken has really hot rock bottom compared to what it was last timeI was here pre-Pandemic. There was none of the wonderful flavour or crunch I was expecting. Maybe it's all the takeout being served up and people not appreciating sit down restaurant quality anymore.
The gravy was awful, tasteless and if you let it cool a bit, congealed to a... something
There's a bunch of new Fried Chicken joints in Vanc. Maybe try those first.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 10, 2020
Another fried chicken! Off course, I had to try. This was my first time to Win-Win Chick-N and always see the restaurant on my drives.
Stopped by today for take out lunch. I selected the 5 piece with Filipino macaroni salad for $12.99 (um, somehow I got 6 pieces). After I placed my order, I was informed that the wait would take 10-15 minutes as they had to make a new batch. I was actually very happy about that since I rather have a fresh friend chicken. To ensure social distance and to keep the restaurant clean, I told the staff that I would Wait outside.
Upon picking up my order, the friendly server asked if I want some free fries and I said ok!
The chicken was still warm when I got home and it was well seasoned with a light crunch and super moist inside. This reminded me of a friend's mother's Sunday dinner. I enjoyed it even though I personally like the super crunch like Church's or Korean style. The fries were not crispy but it's probably by not eating then immediately. The Filipino macaroni salad was a surprise for me. It was warm and what looked like tomato sauce was actually a sweet sauce and mixed with slices of hot dog. It was certainly different and still managed to polish it off.
For small family businesses, this is the time to show them support if we can. I would go back as the chicken was good and the service friendly.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - May 6, 2020
There was a groupon so I figured I would try this place. There is minimal parking space.
The painting on their wall says that they cooking everything to order so expect a 15-20 min wait. There were two doordash orders while we waited so it seemed like they had good business. However two walk-ins left after they heard of the long wait. So my advice is to call and order it for pick up (considering the little parking space as well)
As for the chicken, it isnt very breaded so it is more like KFC original or Duffin's Donuts' chicken. It isn't as salty as those two, which is a plus. However, the biggest let down is the size of the chicken. They gave us 12 pieces even though we ordered 10 which was nice, but we found out how small the pieces were when we got home. The thighs were half thighs. Only one bone as opposed to every other chicken joint. There was a significant amount of oil on the bottim of the box as well so the chickens on the bottom got soggy pretty fast.
Pricewise, it is $23 for 10 pieces (groupon was $20 + a large side) which is reasonable for fried chicken (if it were the regular size). Church's Chicken is $30 for 12 pieces. LA Chicken is $19. Their prices for 20 pieces should be cheaper as you are buying more but it is basically just double priced. LA Chicken is $29 for 20 pieces.
The sides are fries, mashed potatoes or Filipino style macaroni. We chose the macaroni to try. It does not look like google images of "Filipino macaroni". It is basically Filipino style spaghetti but with macaroni: the minced meat and the cut up hot dogs with the sweet tomato sauce. The large is just two servings containers of small.
They also don't give out packets of ketchup. They squirt ketchup into a small container. We got 3 containers for 10 pieces of chicken and 1 container of spicy sauce (which tastes like buffalo wings type of sauce)
Overall, it doesnt beat any other fried chicken places in terms of taste. It may be cheaper than Church's Chicken, but the thighs are half as small =(. They are also across from another fried chicken place called Hi-Five, which has more parking but I haven't tried that place yet.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
