Great horses, beautiful countryside on a perfect Prescott winter day. There were four of us on horses, each with a different personality and background story. Our guide, Cyndi was friendly and knowledgeable and managed to make a group of beginners feel like they knew what they were doing. Communication was clear and the ride started on time. We plan to come back.

Edit: I did FINALLY receive a refund. Not directly from the company itself, but I'm assuming the owners husband by the name of Steven O'Daly and it came via Zelle. I do truly feel that if I wouldn't have written my review and went to the BBB I would have not received a refund at all as it appeared there was zero sense of urgency after all this time had gone by.

PLEASE CHOOSE A DIFFERENT COMPANY!!!!
A little background- I live in the Maricopa area, not in Prescott. I have been riding with Cyndi and her company for approximately 5 years now and have been more loyal and patient than i should have been. Never in previous rides/reservations have I had and issues or problems with Cyndi or her company until this last year. This company offered $75 1 1/2 hr trail rides last year between Black Friday and Xmas. I pre-purchased two rides since I have been riding with this company at least once a year, sometimes more for some years now and have been given no reason to not trust this company or the owner.
I want others to be warned that just because a small business like this one has many 4 and 5 star reviews doesn't make them the best option/choice for your service in this case horse back riding. Do not ever pre-pay for a service ahead of time, wait until you are at the location/trail to pay for your ride. Yavapai requires you to pre-pay for your ride 1-2 days prior to receiving your actual service. Please do not do this and her is why...
Here I'am now, have made more than 5 attempts in the last 12 months to make a reservation with multiple confirmed rides to either get cancelled on literally the night before or no showed on. This last time was a complete ghost and no show. Received a text message 3 days later from the owner stating how sorry she was and that she had to deal with something serious. She asked me if I wanted a refund or to reschedule. Of course I said refund. We are now a week from this text message and I have received NO REFUND.
I will state that the day of my ride about an hour after my confirmed ride time I filed a complaint with the BBB to follow proper and necessary protocol in case legal action was needed. The company has not responded to them as far as I know per the case manager assigned and they are now advising me to file a police report for theft and if I choose to I can go to small claims court. I do not want to take this route, but at this point I feel as though I have no other choice.
Please let this be a lesson to anyone using this company. If customers just let things like this go, then a small business like this will think its ok to take advantage, walk all over a loyal customer and just keep their money and nothing will be done. You would think a smart business owner would make things much easier for both parties and just give the refund already. Lesson Learned!

I'm new to the Prescott Area, and there was no better, nor peaceful way to get to know, and take in the wonderful breadth of Prescott's unique, and beautiful surroundings.
I will be making this a favorite for my out of town guests.

This group is amazing. The work they do for these horses is selfless. The trail ride my granddaughter and I had with Cyndi and Steve was incredible.

So much fun. Beautiful well taken care of horses. The adventures are not only amazing with incredible views, but a once in a lifetime! The owners and staff are so cool and really know their stuff.

My 7 year old granddaughter and I loved our 90 minute trail ride. The horses are all rescued and so gentle yet full of life. Cindy and Steve are amazing. I think Cindy is a horse whisperer as the horses were amazing ! The trail was pretty, peaceful and fun!! We will definitely ride again here!

My friend and I booked a trail ride with Cyndi. She met us with the horses . It was colder than I expected that morning, and she let me borrow a jacket. We are experienced riders, so we followed her up the Mingus Mountain. I loved the trail. I rode a beautiful horse named Nosara. She responded well and she loved to trot! Cyndi was a great guide! We could have rode with her all day. I would definitely recommend doing this trail ride!!

We had the most amazing ride today with Cindy. She picked horses to meet our riding ability, met us at an awesome trail, let us have a really nice faster paced ride. Beautiful scenery, water crossings, hills and more. The horses were healthy and happy to go ride. It was a blast. She took pictures for us and made sure it was exactly what we wanted. Cindy and her horses were top notch. Well worth the money paid! I truly can not say enough good things. I was so happy when we got done that I cried. Lol. Amazing!! Thank you so much.

Such a great experience! First time coming to Prescott and highly recommend others to book with Cyndi. She was a great guide and made the experience super relaxing! Loved that we were able to pretty much chose were we wanted to go and the time we wanted to. Don't miss out on this!
