Originally established in 2003, Man with a Van has become one of the most trusted names for moving home in London. With our handy man and van Movers we make it easy to arrange an affordable, safe and reliable move every time.
How are we different? Well, to go straight to the point, unlike similar operators that often use a large supply of relatively unknown drivers, we only use Movers that we originally sourced and hand picked ourselves and have since been with us for years.
We know our Movers well and we know they always turn up as arranged to provide an efficient and professional service for the price agreed. It may mean we can't claim to be as 'big' as some of the others out there but that's ok with us, our main concern is providing a safe and reliable service, see recent feedback.

Our Movers
Our London based Movers are well organised and highly experienced. All types and sizes of home removal services are provided, from rooms in flatshares and small flat moves through to fully furnished house and office removals.
A variety of different size removal vans are used, including medium wheel base (MWB) and long wheel base (LWB) Mercedes Sprinters and Transit vans, up to 3.5 / 7.5 tonne Luton vans. All vans are clean, modern and equipped with SatNav's as standard. Removal straps, blankets and trolleys are also available when needed.
Generally our Movers operate 7 days per week in central London and all surrounding areas between the hours of 8am to 8pm (times can vary between different Movers and depending on availability).
Our Mover's prices are competitive, with a removals van and working driver helping to load and unload normally starting at around £40 per hour for a small move, with the option to hire further helpers also available for a modest incremental increase on the hourly rate. Costs are sometimes dependent on availability and other factors so always request a quote to be sure.
