We are a family farm specializing in aged farmstead cheese. We use sustainable practices and always put our cows first. That means we do not use grain to push production, but rather offer free choice hay and pasture. We also only milk seasonally, when the grass is growing.

Production Practices
Pastured 100 Percent Grass Fed Antibiotic And Hormone Free Free Range
Cows have free choice hay and pasture. We do feed a treat of beets when milking. Cows are not dehorned and we do not dock tails. Cows get a 3-4 month break in production when grass is not growing and they spend between a week and two week with their calves. Calves are then separated by a fence but can still see and interact with their mothers. We do not use any herbicides, pesticides, or hormones. We will use antibiotics in a life saving situation but that cow will no longer be in production until the following season.
