DIANA SYMONDS RECOGNIZED AS 2022 LOCAL REALTOR® OF THE YEAR

The Awards committee of the Greater Mason City Board of REALTORS® has recognized Diana Symonds, Real Estate Broker Associate with McQuaid Agency in Clear Lake as the recipient of their 2022 Local REALTOR® of the Year award. Symonds was presented with this prestigious award by last year’s recipient Roger Flieth, Broker Associate with Century 21 Preferred – Mason City.
Locally implemented in 2012, this award is meant to recognize and honor a REALTOR® member of the Mason City Board of REALTORS® for his or her efforts in the interest of their profession, their customers and clients, and their community. The award is not based on sales goals. REALTORS® who receive this award have been active in their local Boards and communities, contributing freely of their time and talents.
Symonds has been licensed since 2001 and strives to serve her clients to the best of her ability. She is an avid volunteer, and has given freely of her time to help with many if not ALL Board sponsored community service projects throughout her career, often times being one of the first to step up.
This year’s honoree has served on the Greater Mason City Board of Directors, holding Presidency in 2021, is a member of Mason City & Clear Lake Chambers of Commerce, North Iowa Regional Board of REALTORS®, Iowa Association of REALTORS®, National Association of REALTORS®, holds several designations (CRS, GRI, CBR), is the Regional Vice President of the Iowa Association of REALTORS® for Region 3, and has been a valued member of countless committees including IAR committees & task forces throughout her 21-year career in real estate. In fact, she’s served on nearly every local and state committee at some point in time. This year’s honoree is a Major Investor for RPAC, and has donated her time, talents, and service for the betterment of the real estate industry. Symonds is well known for her teamwork, leadership, sense of humor, positive attitude, smile, friendship, her selfless attitude, and overall REALTOR® spirit.
