Phat Quang Pagoda is a hundred-year-old pagoda located in Du Nhan village, Thanh Liem district, Ha Nam province, 70km from Hanoi. The temple was restored and rebuilt more spaciously in 2015 by Venerable Abbot Thich Thien An. With an area of up to 13 hectares, the temple is a harmonious and delicate combination of natural scenery and unique Buddhist architecture. Abbot Thich Thien An built many architectural works with his imprint at the temple such as Tam Bao, lecture hall, guest house, tea house… Many masterpieces on the old temple background such as rock formations with beautiful scenery, and a lively aquarium, especially the calligraphy and paintings written by the master himself, are loved by many tourists when visiting the temple. Not only that, but the roads in the temple grounds are also paved with white sandstone, and large stone faces pave the way, making the footsteps of pilgrims softer and smoother. Along those roads, entering the temple, visitors will be amazed at the architectural space that appears before their eyes — an elaborate and sophisticated Buddhist architectural space, giant Buddha statues and the dignified worshipping area, surrounded by flowers, tree branches…
