Seamen’s Centre Amsterdam

Seamen's Center Amsterdam offers a variety of services to seafarers. It is a place they can visit while their ship lies in the Port of Amsterdam. The services vary from money exchange and telephone to internet access and mail delivery. Visitors can also relax at the bar or during a game of table tennis, billiards or darts. Furthermore, the team offers a helping hand to those who seek social assistance. There is also spiritual support.

Seamen's Center Amsterdam offers free transport from and to ships in the port area. The center is not available for overnight stays. Every year some 10,000 seafarers visit the center.
