I grew up with a hammer in my hands! ok, seriously..My dad was a home builder and he hated for me to get my hands dirty, so I could only sit on the sidelines and watch him and my brothers build houses.
Then back in 2008, I got a call from my mom and heard words I'll never forget: "your Father has fallen and he cannot get up" .. After a few weeks of clinging to life in the ICU .. he slipped away.. but the night before, I promised him I would take care of mom until the day she dies. and told him I loved him. and he could let go. πͺπ
That was a rough year up North in a house that was falling apart. There were ecord breaking snowfalls..π₯Ά I had to learn to drive a snowplow, shovel snow from the roof and replace a toilet in the middle of winter. But, I used my time wisely! I watched every episode of This Old House. and Design on a dime, Yard Crashers , Sell this house π―and MORE.. By the spring, I started transforming this place back to its original glory. πand then listed it for sale.π But, with the crash in full effect, no houses were selling π. So I started knocking on the doors of business owners and leaving flyers with a box of doughnuts . Sure enough, it worked and the place was sold.
A few houses flipped later and Someone suggested I get my license and my life has never been the same since! I sell to help people and am blessed with a ton of kindness and π.
