Our story

January 2020 De Gante Art Studio and Thrift opened with the hopes of becoming an art space for local Tampa Bay artists. The plan was set and word was spreading. Suddenly, the world changed and, for the safety of the public, all non-essential businesses were closed. By the grace of an almighty, we survived, but faced a severe lack of organization. In August, 2021, new management was brought onboard and with a fresh pair of eyes, the thrift portion began to fund the arts! With a fresh new look and the vision of keeping in stock the odd and unique, the store is heading to look like an emporium and a place that you can spend time in looking at the ever-changing array of nostalgic pieces, antiques, and art. 2022 will finally welcome an art space! We invite you to come see our progress and enjoy our space made for dreams. Our vision is to inspire the local arts. Thank you for your support.
