Mint Nails. A co-worker first turned me on to Mint Nails before I retired. I really liked the sanitation aspect of their salon, even before Covid. Today, thought I would go today and treat myself to the basic $35.00 pedicure. I know that they are more expensive than many, but the quality is great. WHOA! Awhy was my technician. He's from Viet Nam and has been here 14 years. His English is rough and it was difficult for me to understand. HOWEVER, he is slick enough to add on many extras...including a flower design on my toenails, which I asked him how much extra it would be and he implied "nothing more." When I went to check out and pay my$35.00 bill, I presented with one for $58.00 + the tip!!! Far more than I can afford. He also kept pushing me to pay cash with the incentive that it would take 5% off my bill. Who is he scamming? The salon owners???? I know that I could have made a scene, but I wasn't in the mood. I decided to give anyone who goes there, fair warning to beware of the snake in the grass. I will be contacting the owners and letting them know what happened.

Does anyone have any recommendations of places to get your nails done near South Worthington or the North Clintonville? I’ve recently lost the girl that’s done my nails for about five years. Any suggestions appreciated.

Best Pedicure Place for Covid Times. Hi! Just hoping you all could recommend your favorite places to get a pedicure. The place I usually go, last time they had a 4-year-old in there without a mask, and her mom's mask was down below her nose. I really need a place that stringently enforces mask wearing. Also, I prefer a place with nice massage chairs for pedicures. Also, I'd prefer they really listen to me about cutting my toe nails as short as possible – not so they're *too* short, but so I don't have them growing back long in two weeks. (The place I'm going now seems to think by leaving my nails long, I'll come back more often and they'll make more money. So they don't do what I ask them.)
