I know this is an odd request. I am about to take a new position that offers a lot of overtime with the possibility of a different shift every day. I am looking for someone that would be available to let my dog Duke out once a day to do his business and give him some attention. Of course the problem is, it may be at different times each day. I was thinking that I could give a three hour window. The only other option is that I have to take him to a shelter for rehoming. I really don't want to do that. We are looking for a house/pet sitter. Our dog is 15 years old. He does not have accidents in the home, but he usually needs to go outside between 4 and 5 AM. He does sleep most of the day. He still likes to walk up and down the street or if he’s feeling well around the block. He cannot be with any other animals as he is not used to that. Since we are home all the time, we prefer someone that stays here with him. We do not have any set dates yet. We want to make sure he is taken care of before making any plans. Needing recommendations for large dog boarding for a week. She was severely traumatized last year at Tannenberg, so they are out.
