Hello. I am new to this app. I have been growing some plants in my own backyard for a couple of years now but I am sad to say that the pest took most of my produce out a while back. I also do not use pesticides. I am an avid canner and I was looking for local farmers to buy produce from and I came across your stand through the google search engine . It looks amazing and I am so appreciative to find someone who is willing to sell some of their bounty to others . I noticed you put up a message that stated you were out of produce a week ago. I am assuming you still are till your fall crops come in but just wanted to ask.

Good Morning! Today on the farmstand we have: Napa cabbage, Bok-Choi, collard greens, chard, and Rosemary. All grown onsite with absolutely no chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides at all! We are located at: 7814 Highland Road Santa Fe, Texas 77510. Our stand is run on the honor system and we accept cash, Venmo and Paypal. Our hours are from 9am-7pm Sunday through Friday. Good Morning! And what a beautiful morning we have been blessed with today! We are open today with some beyond organic napa/michili cabbage $2 per bunch, pak/bok choi $2 per bunch, collards $2 per bunch and basil $2 per bunch. As always, no pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers are ever used on anything we grow, not even those pesticides which are used on certified organic crops (which is why we refer to our produce as "beyond organic"). We accept cash, Venmo and Paypal. Our hours are from 9am-7pm Sunday through Friday and we are closed Saturday. We are located at 7814 Highland Road Santa Fe, Texas 77510.

Our story

Our homegrown vegetables are grown right here onsite using organic methods and absolutely no pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. We have been growing vegetables for our family for over 30 years now. As we expand our garden and improve the soil in each bed we hope to grow more vegetables for both us and the farmstand. At one time we sold at local farmer's markets and even had a small CSA. At that time we used a tractor and farming implements to prepare our field for planting. Our garden covered approximately one acre. We grew a lot of produce using the farm implements but eventually we pushed the land too far and it became hard to grow anything as the soil was obviously depleted. We let the field go unmowed with only our horse and a couple of goats grazing on it for approximately six years. Two years ago we began building garden beds on the field and now the beds cover approximately 1/4 acre. we are slowly improving the soil while using, for the most part, a no till method. (On occasion we will use a small cultivator to turn over the top layer of soil in order to prep a bed for the planting of certain seeds.) Our goal is to grow the most nutritious chemical free vegetables possible for our family and our customers. When you buy from us you can rest assured that you are getting herbs, fruit and vegetables grown using only natural methods. We consider our vegetables as "beyond organic" because we do not even use the pesticides which are allowed on certified organic/ certified naturally grown farms. When we label something as "unwashed" it is just letting you know that you will need to wash the soil off before eating that item. It has been our personal experience that unwashed vegetables will store longer than vegetables which have been washed therefore we do not wash our vegetables unless there is an excessive amount soil attached to them. As we continue to improve our soil and expand our production we hope to grow our local customer base through the nextdoor app. and word of mouth. Our stand is run on the honor system (cash only) and there is a pay station just to the right of the table.
