ma'afala breadfruit trees in pots available. Quick to produce fruit. Smaller tree structure than other breadfruit types. Waimanalo pickup or I can deliver or even plant. Ma'afala is a variety of breadfruit that originated in Samoa and Tonga. It's a fast-growing tree that's shorter and more compact than most breadfruit varieties. The fruit is oval-shaped with a slightly rough skin. It has a nutty flavor and firm texture. Ma'afala is the second most common breadfruit variety in Hawaii. It's also called Samoan Breadfruit. The trees can grow up to 40 feet tall. With proper pruning, the trees can have a more round shape, making them better for urban areas. Ma'afala is a favorite fruit for its nutty flavor and firm texture. Tissue-cultured trees can produce fruit in as little as 3 years.
