Week 1Lesson 1Review of Op Art/Optical Illusion 4Students will review (or be introduced to) the concept of Op Art, and draw an optical illusion that looks like a hole in a checkerboard.Week 2Lesson 2Optical Illusion 5We will review/look at our art from last class, and will begin a new drawing of a grid that looks three-dimensional. Students may need time on their own to complete the drawing and color it.Week 3Lesson 3Optical Illusion 6We will draw one final optical illusion using elements of what was learned in previous classes and will use techniques with either colored pencils or markers (student choice) to get variations in light and dark colors. This lesson may not be completed by the end of class, so I encourage students to finish and upload their art for classmates to see!
