Norwich Pharmasave drug store opened at 24 Main St. West on Tuesday, June 2nd 2015 and there are some familiar faces behind the counter. Main pharmacist John Chang formerly worked at a local drug store where he got to know many people in the community. After leaving that business, Chang had other pharmacy positions but began to work with Jay Patel. Patel now owns the Norwich location as well as a Pharmasave in Woodstock. Norwich Pharmasave's building was completely renovated before opening and has been decorated in earth tone colours with lots of natural light. There is a patient waiting area with chairs, television and free hot beverage centre, as well as a private consultation room. The store is a full service pharmacy and offers many retail products such as over-the-counter medicines, health and beauty, and home healthcare products. A pharmacist is available Sunday on an after-hours basis.
