ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Though the owners said they are looking for a new location in the Arlington Heights area, fans of Burger Baron might want to make their way over to Golf Road before the restaurants closes on Friday.

In a Tuesday morning social media post on the restaurant's Facebook page, the owners said the landlord for the International Plaza Shopping Center has applied for permits to demolish the mall. Burger Baron, which also has a Chicago location, has operated at 132 E. Golf Road for the past 12 years.

"Although we don't have a new spot picked out yet, please know that we're looking daily," the Facebook post reads. "We would like to stay in our current area, which makes things a little more difficult."
