  1. How did you come up with the name? My radio show started out as Jacque’s Giant Hudson Valley Music Show. The premise of the radio program was to interview musicians from (and performing in) the Hudson Valley Region. The interviews featured two to three in-studio performances. During the first 100 shows the show began to evolve and include comedians as well as other original musicians from the surrounding regions. In 2019, I shortened the name to Jacque’s Giant Music Show to reflect the evolution.
  2. Why start a business in this town? I love the Hudson Valley Region! There is a tremendous wealth of original talent coming out of the area, and I wanted to develop a platform to highlight these performers.
  3. What business are you in? I am the host and producer/promoter of Jacque’s Giant Music Show a radio program and podcast streaming on TheBeatOfTheValley.com and soundcloud.com/jacquebutterfly.
  4. What's the most difficult challenge you've faced as a business owner? Finding sponsors and raising funds to properly produce upcoming events and allow me to continue broadcasting a quality program.
  5. What's been your proudest achievement since opening? Being recognized by my peers as a passionate supporter of original music and an influencer on the Hudson Valley music scene.
  6. How does your business give back to the community? I am currently promoting a 100th Show Jamboree and Fundraiser on March 6 at Daryl's House Club to benefit WPWL 103.7 streaming on TheBeatoftheValley.com. Pawling Public Radio is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. I also am an active and passionate advocate for local original musicians and the live music venues that feature them. It is my mission to make the public aware of the rich and diversified music coming out of our region.
