The Brains blog is a leading forum for research in the philosophy and science of mind. We host over 2000 posts drawing over 15,000 visitors per month on average.

The Brains community enjoys symposia about articles from journals such as ErgoMind & LanguageNeuroethics, and Neuroscience of Consciousness, about books from leading philosophers and scientists published by major academic presses, and announcements about exciting yet not widely advertised opportunities with fellow online cognitive science communities.

Brains was founded in 2005 by Gualtiero Piccinini, administered by John Schwenkler from late 2011 to mid 2020, and co-managed by Daniel Burnston and Nick Byrd since mid 2020. The associate editors have included Ann-Sophie Barwich, Majid D.
