If a bone graft is necessary, it will be placed during the first surgical appointment, then allowed to heal.
After the bone graft is healed, a hole is drilled into the bone and the implant is screwed into place.

What is a dental tooth implant?

If I have a tooth removed first, how long do I have to wait for a dental implant?

Immediately after the procedure, we have recommendations that we will give you for how to care for the surgical area and how to keep it clean. Following your full recovery, you will be able to take care of your dental implant just as you would any of your other teeth.
