Nestled in Montana’s Golden Triangle – so-called because of all the golden wheat that colors the agricultural landscape – Jeff Bangs grows a variety of grains in rotation with his tiny chickpea variety that’s not only delicious, but a soil-conditioning powerhouse. He's committed to regenerative agriculture (even integrating grazing animals – our soil’s ultimate friend!) and experimentation, all while balancing the economic realities of climate change, which has taken its toll in Montana. Jeff’s great-grandmother arrived to farm the land more than 100 years ago, and Prairie Sun Farms is ensuring her legacy lives on.
