Selecting Your New Frames

After our optometrists explain the results of your eye exam, you can choose from dozens of beautifully crafted designer frames if you need corrective lenses.
Our helpful staff will be happy to assist you in deciding which frame best suits your facial dimensions and personality.
When choosing the best frames following your eye glasses exam, ask yourself these questions:
Do I need frames to accommodate progressives, bifocals, trifocals or single vision lenses?
What’s my style — classic, sporty, designer or retro?
Am I going to be physically active while wearing my new eyeglasses, or will I be looking at a computer screen?
Do I need hypoallergenic frames, stainless steel, all plastic or titanium?
Do I want the same size frames as my previous glasses or something larger/smaller?

Should You Get One Pair or Two?

Having two sets of eyeglasses can be practical and fun for several reasons. For starters, it can be easy to lose or damage your only pair of eyeglasses. Having a back-up pair can be a lifesaver. Eyeglasses are also the ultimate wardrobe accessory, whether you want to enhance your favorite night-on-the-town outfit with colored frames or look as businesslike as possible by wearing simple, dark frames. Many times a separate pair of computer glasses is absolutely essential to avoiding neck and eye strain from the many hours looking at the desktop or laptop computer screen. Couple the proper prescription for intermediate use with blue lenses to protect your eyes from harmful blue light and this second pair of glasses will be essential for the new tech savvy generation.
