Amazing!On my first visit I got the best fish I’ve ever had! Very juicy and crispy batter. Tonight I got Chicken fingers and they were amazing as well. All white meat. The gravy was delicious! My boyfriend got the bacon cheese burger and loved it! The owners and workers are so sweet and very personal with their customers, I definitely recommend coming here if you want food made with love ❤️

I came here with my grandparents as they were picking me up from my away from home job and we stopped so I could spend some time with them. We aren’t locals or anything to the area but the man running the restaurant was sweet and kind, he made some jokes with my grandparents. I got a simple burger and fries, the burger was the best one I’ve had in a long time. My Grandma had the ham omelette and said it was one of the best she ever had, my Papa is still wondering what fish it was so he can try making it himself. Overall loving atmosphere, amazing food and cleanliness is good as well. I will come back here, especially when travelling on my days off.

My family and I really enjoyed dinner tonight. The food was excellent, the service was poliet and prompt. The staff are very inviting. If you are looking for a nice, family oriented restaurant, with a small town feel, then this is the place for you.

Thorndale Family Restaurant aka “George’s” is amazing! Fresh breakfast, lunch or dinner every time you go.. service is friendly and food always awesome! I recommend a burger & fries, fish and chips or the Hungry Man breakfast.

This was my first time coming here.Was doing some work in town at the community centre. So we stopped in for lunch; I had the chicken strips and fries with the salad and a coworker of mine had the steak with veggies, mashed potatoes. Food was amazing and the service was fantastic. I love going to small towns like this, - ma & pop restaurants, and still seeing restaurants operating like this. I wish there was more around, for a small town prices are reasonable and amount of food you get is very good. The food was so fresh. I told George; the owner that I’d be coming back with my wife next time, and we’ll be trying something different. I know we’ll definitely have to try out the breakfast sometime soon.This is definitely a 5 plus star restaurant.You see some people write one star reviews on here they’re the people that just don’t know what a good restaurant is because there is nothing wrong with this place people do make mistakes. We will definitely be returning again see you guys soon.!!!!!!

My wife says it was the best meal she has had since coming to Canada! Great service in a nice small town.... I ordered the cheeseburger, which was a Greek cheeseburger and very tasty. My wife ordered the baby beef liver and onions. The portions are big and you will leave full. I recommend stopping by if driving through Thorndale or making a point to check it out.

I got the bacon cheese burger and without exaggeration, it was the best burger I've ever had.The patty was juicy, there was an even and thick layer of cheese, and bacon. The bacon was perfectly cooked. Not crunchy but chewy and tender instead which is perfect for a burger. I did not have a single bite that did not have bacon or beef or both in it (including the edges). The burger was not greasy either. Great service, nice people, great price. I will definitely be returning here to try more of their food.
