If you visit El Chalten and decide to skip out on La Wafleria, you're making a mistake. La Wafleria is conveniently located near the trailhead of several popular hiking trails in El Chalten and is a welcome sight at the end of a hike. They have something for everyone: savory and sweet waffles, breakfast and lunch/dinner waffles, fruity and chocolatey waffles... as well as a wide variety of hot drinks. They have both indoor as well as outdoor seating. And the service!! The staff here at La Wafleria could not be more accommodating! Seriously some of the nicest, happiest people we met in El Chalten. Be aware they only take cash, but are more that willing to work with you. They also do not have WiFi, so get off your phone and enjoy your waffle!!!
