About This Listing

Epiphone EJ200 Artist (refurb) Jumbo Acoustic
All Maple Jumbo Magic for Less!

Granted, it's not a Gibson J-200, but it looks like one (from a distance) and it literally costs thousands less. For under $200 beans, you can fake your friends out around the campfire or the beach until they realize it's an Epi. Totally worth it, right?

If you're looking for a straight acoustic for jammin' with your buds that can project with a loud and solid tone, then look no further. This is a perfect knock around acoustic that sounds great and looks pretty damn good. Here's what Epiphone has to say:

The limited edition Epiphone EJ-200 Artist brings back the historic guitar deservedly known as the “King of the Fla-tops,” the J-200. Originally introduced in 1937, the J-200 set a standard for guitar excellence that others have been trying to match ever since. Today—over 70 years later—the legacy of “King of the Flat-tops” lives on with our EJ 200 Artist in a no-frills, all-tone package.

When the J-200 was first introduced, it immediately filled a need for a deeper, more balanced and powerful acoustic instrument that could project over stage and radio. The J-200 was a radical new guitar, bigger and bolder than any previous design, and was capable of projecting well beyond that of any other acoustic on the market—a fact that still holds true today. Gene Autry and Roy Rogers frequently made the J-200 their guitar of choice for dozens of Westerns, forever linking cowboys and guitars. Since then, the J-200 has been the acoustic guitar that every player wants whether on the open range or an open stage.

The J-200 style is simply the world’s most famous acoustic guitar, known equally for it’s majestic look and focused, complex sound. Every great rhythm guitarist and singer of the last century made the J-200 their primary acoustic instrument on stage (and for record covers, too) including Don Everly, Bob Dylan, Robbie Robertson, Emmylou Harris, Elvis Presley, Gram Parsons, Buddy Holly, and Pete Townshend who composed The Who's Tommy on a J-200 style acoustic.

This Epiphone EJ200 Artist is a professionally refurbished acoustic guitar. The Photos are of the actual guitar you will receive. Due to manufacturer guidelines, this acoustic cannot be sold as new. The back of the headstock was stamped lightly as "used" (it's barely visible) and was given a new serial number to prevent false warranty claims. If you have any questions at all about this, please do not hesitate to contact us. This is your opportunity to buy a like new instrument at a discounted price (Normally: $249.00 & MSRP: $715.00). This is the only guitar we have available at this price. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, DudeBroSki offers a fourteen (14) day return policy from the date you receive the guitar. We're here to earn your business and trust, one sale at a time.
