Antique Katana sword in Antique Ornate Mounting

A complete set of antique Katana long sword and ornate mountings. This quality item is offered from our Yokohama Sword Store. Very stunning antique steel blade finished with O-Gunome great waved tempered line patterns. The blade is well-balanced and in great shape. Blade in Excellent condition. Handcrafted by smith Seiryuken Minamoto MORITOSHI located in Bohsyu (Iwakuni, Yamaguchi pref.) in Meiji period in 1869. Inscription of the sword smith and completion date are engraved on the tang. The mounting is registered as Hozon paper "Well Preserved Work" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society) that is given to the well-preserved sword with artistic value. The blade comes in a complete antique ornate mountings including the beautiful openworked Tsuba guard. The Shirasaya wooden holder also comes with.
