About Us

Ever since we launched the Vinyl Garage in 2020, we have rescued tens-of-thousands of forgotten records out of basements, attics, and storage units, and onto the turntables of those who wish to keep vinyl alive

Whether you’re a collector who’s ready to part ways with your collection, or you’re someone who simply just wants those dusty boxes out of your hair, your LP’s will be in good hands

  • When did we open?

We started selling albums in 2020, but have been collecting records for the last 5 years.

With sales initially being strictly online (on our Etsy shop), we slowly started finding our ways into the local community as well.

We are currently doing a blend of in-person and online sales.

With future plans to open a brick-and-mortar store at our new location, we’re constantly on the look-out for more music.

  • Locally Owned

Based out of Hampstead, Maryland, we typically frequent local flea markets, record shows, and various pop-ups.

If you’re in the Carroll County area, you’ve likely seen us at the Westminster Ag Center many times!

We frequent the monthly record shows in Arbutus MD and Lancaster PA, and have set-up shop at the annual Hampstead Day and Baltimore Record Bazaar.

  • Why We Do This

Obviously, we love music, and love finding stuff that we can add to our own collection.

However, we’re more passionate about keeping vinyl alive.

In the image above, there are boxes and boxes of music that had been collecting dust, without being played or appreciated in decades.

It is our mission to rescue records that had been forgotten about, and get them in the hands of our customers who can properly cherish the music.
