The instructions are clear and easy, lots of pictures. The actual work took about 15 minutes, with just a single Phillips screwdriver. Pump works a bit quieter now, and there is ample bubbling at the output. No problems.

May 12 '23 removed 7 gallons of non stinky floating brown stuff from primary tank, Put in new puck
Sept 2 '23 no floaters in primary or secondary. 20% fine brown particles in outlet filter.
Dec 21 '23 removed 7 gallons of non stinky floaters from primary. Secondary nothing floating. Put in new puck
Feb 14 '24 half gallon of floater near primary inlet
Mar 13 '24 5 gal of floaters in primary removed.
Two pucks in on year, January temperature -5 C at nite mostly above freezing in daytime.
Is this normal ?
