Which inspection does my car need? What is the cost?
A Safety inspection is required for 2022-2024 vehicles, diesel, vehicles older than 20 years or depending upon the county of registration (there are other exceptions, too, but these are the most common!). The standard cost set by the state is $13.60.
A Safety + Emissions inspection is required for all other vehicles and the cost set by the state is $30.00.
Window Tint: the only exception to these costs is if the vehicle has an applied window tint -- by law, this must be tested and the test is an additional $10 (again, set by the state).
We try our best to make the inspection process as transparent and painless as possible! We are not here to needlessly fail the vehicle for something that it does not need, nor upsell to have you spend money unnecessarily -- and we are happy to show you any part of the inspection findings & answer any questions to help you better understand your vehicle's needs!
What happens if my vehicle fails? No worries! It happens! We will answer your questions and help you through the process!

Latest technology!
Neil stays ahead of the technology advancements found in today's -- and the future generations of -- cars, and we have a multitude of computers and diagnostic equipment that lets us assess vehicles from Acura to Volvo (and some fascinating ones in between!). He works hard to learn and stay informed in the incredibly rapidly growing & changing world of vehicles, and thanks to his background with electrical work and diagnostics, along with his vast experience with all things vehicular, Neil does not quit until he has your answer -- and, as Neil says, while you may not like hearing the answer, he will tell you the truth (the same as he'd want for himself!).

We love it! We were approached by Christina's son's elementary school to sponsor her son's annual fundraiser, and while a member of the PTA thought that Christina's design was good, Christina was happy to allow the PTA to try their hand at it, and this was the design created -- and we are absolutely thrilled! We have had a multitude of customers also praise the design as well as ask when we will be selling shirts with this on it...??? We are hoping sooner than later!

Hey! We are Neil & Christina... truly South meeting North! Neil is originally from Raleigh, born in the original Rex Hospital and graduated from Enloe HS. Christina was born in WI and moved around the Northeast & Midwest, until moving to Raleigh in 2012. Neil has worked on all sorts of vehicles his whole life, but specializes in German engineering (Audi, BMW, Porsche, etc.), electrical work, and diagnostics. Have a problem? Neil will not just get an answer, but he wil be correct and solve it.
