  • I am a human seeking to manage my pain and the stressors of life.

I've been getting massages for more than 24 years.

I love to share my experiences to help others find a great licensed quality massage therapist (aka LMT). My business motto is that every client should feel heard, valued and that they gain positive results.

I started getting massages because I had a lot of pain from a car accident (MVA). Massages made me feel better. I enjoyed them and got great results.

I was blessed to have a great massage therapist named Tanya. I started seeing her in November 1999. At first, I got monthly one-hour massages, but later I increased to ninety-minute massages. Now, I get biweekly two-hour massages.

I've been fortunate to build a therapeutic bond with Tanya.

My last massage with Tanya was on February 11, 2023. She's retired now. But on that day, she gifted me her massage equipment, including an electric massage table. This table is really special because it helped me feel better when I had pain. It makes me feel humble and grateful that I can share this relief with others.

Now, I'm looking for a new massage therapist to continue getting massages. I understand the journey. Happy to know the LMT I've been seeing regularly.

Most women receive 10-15 massages while pregnant, similar to your prenatal visit.

First and Second Trimester: once every 4 weeks up to week 27

Third and Fourth Trimester: every other week up to week 36

Do you treat children?

Yes.

Parent’s written consent is needed prior to appointment and presence is required in the treatment room during session.

What shall I do if I've arrived early for my appointment?

I recommend you arrive 10-minutes prior to your appointment.

I leave 45-minutes in between appointments. Should you arrive early, feel free to sit under the pergola in my backyard or let me know you've arrived... I'm probably ready for you.

How often should I get massaged?

I recommend a minimum of 1x per month for maintenance.

I have clients schedule their sessions 1x per week, 1x per month, 2x per month.

I also have clients schedule 2/3x per week when needed.

It all depends on your lifestyle and finances.

Our body is our greatest asset.

Is your space accesssible?

Yes.

There are 2 steps to enter my massage suite.

Do I have to take my clothes off?

Depends on your scheduled service:

Swedish massage: client removes clothes and will be covered throughout session. Therapist will only expose areas worked on at the time with massage cream. Ex. Back, legs, arms

Amma massage: client wears loose fitting, pajama-like clothes; no massage cream is applied.

Does massage hurt?

Massage should never hurt.

During intake, client is asked for their preferred pressure level. Through communication, the therapist will sync up with client's preferred pressure using a number scale once the session has started.

I'm ticklish. Now what?

Ticklish?

No problem, let me know in advance.

The great thing about building a therapeutic bond is that sometimes you lose that sensation when it is replaced with healthy therapeutic touch.

I'm Self conscious about...

I strive to create a NO JUDGEMENT ZONE.

We all have areas we may not be as pleased with. Remember, your body feels what your mind thinks. We are all unique and made perfectly imperfect.
