Margaret Singleton

As a long time REALTOR with the RE/MAX Southern Shores, Margaret is an ultimate professional, with a high level of energy, dedication and determination to get the job done.

Growing up in Orlando, experiencing first hand the explosion of the city with the ground breaking of Disney World, little did she know her profession would be tied to the growth of another in Myrtle Beach, SC. One of seven children, Margaret graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando with a BA in Journalism, specializing in Advertising and Public Relations.

She and her husband, Richard, moved to the country music tourism mecca of Nashville, TN, as newlyweds where they lived for 12 years and where both of their daughters were born. Richard, a 7th generation Horry County native felt the call to return to his roots and they moved back to the thriving Myrtle Beach area in 1986. The family grew in 1988 when their son was born and they both quickly became fundamental members of the community donating countless hours of time in volunteering for schools, churches and board positions. In order to assist the larger number of retirees relocating to South Carolina, Margaret earned the SRES Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation. In 2017, she earned the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation and qualified for Million Dollar Guild status in 2018. Margaret is also an Accredited Buyers Representative and has earned the RENE certification as a Real Estate Negotiation Expert.

Margaret was in the top 6% of agents in her MLS in sales volume in 2018.
