Susan Santos Cárdenas, President and CEO A pioneer advocate specializing on sustainable tourism development and stewardship initiatives with community social responsibility at grassroots application. She had been a staunch innovator, keynote speaker and resource person in learning and capacity building workshops for sustainable tourism to include Ecotourism, Community-based and Agri-Tourism promotion. She was a consultant and adviser for Local Government Units (LGUs) in the Philippines. A savvy tourism professional and hotelier with more than 20 years’ experience managing sales, marketing, operations, events – M.I.C.E. and human resources for small and luxury hotel resorts, tour operators, travel agencies, lifestyle events and publications, in the Philippines, Singapore, Peru, Japan and currently, based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
She is a Founding Board Member of the ASIAN ECOTOURISM NETWORK, a Global Leaders member and a Green Destinations Partner and Representative for the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
– To provide the UNWTO Sustainable Tourism framework in Tourism Destination Development and Management, Environmental Conservation and Socio-Cultural programs with capacity building support and solutions.
– To provide capacity building and sustainability solutions for Hotels, Resorts, Lodgings, Hospitality and Tour Operators with best practices and compliance results.
– To provide Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) solutions for companies who can have the option to choose their community or corporate social responsibility program through genuine environmental initiatives or grass roots development outreach.
– To assist in marketing and promotion with the network of sustainable tourism destinations and service providers, green hotels and lodgings, and MICE venue and sites to include Brand Management, Marketing Communications, PR & Publicity
– To provide extraordinary, unique, responsible travel alternatives and attention to detail with authentic, well rounded and profound learning experiences.
