In order to make whitening more accessible, we reduce unnecessary costs and clinic profits in our pricing system without sacrificing effectiveness or safety.

At our clinics, we use a whitening agent to whiten teeth. There is no drilling. This is the same principle as using bleach to remove tea stains from a tea cup.

We use LED lights made specifically for whitening that were designed to cut out infrared and ultraviolet rays. That's why the procedure isn't hot and doesn't burn.

If you have any complaints with your first treatment, please contact our call center (0120-33-8469) by the following day at the latest.
We will give you a full refund for the treatment.

*The money-back guarantee only applies for standard whitening.
*We will refund you regardless of the reason for your complaint.
*We will give a refund only for the first visit at a Starwhitening clinic.

CHECK!

At Starwhitening, a dentist will give you a free oral examination before the whitening treatment.
They will inform you if you have a problem with early cavities or periodontal disease, so take advantage of this for early detection.

Iyo Matsumoto, Director of Ebisuekimae Dental Clinic

Note: Please be aware that we cannot provide treatment for cavities or periodontal disease on the spot.

Do all commercial toothpastes whiten teeth to some extent?

It is prohibited to add bleaching ingredients to toothpaste sold in Japan. Items that they say "whiten teeth" or "whiten" actually mean that they "clean,” that is, remove stains from the surface.

What is the difference between "cleaning" and "whitening?"

The main purpose of cleaning is not to whiten teeth but to remove tartar and other substances on the surface of teeth using special equipment to prevent periodontal disease and other diseases. On the other hand, whitening is meant to bleach and whiten entire teeth.

Do you clean teeth?

We have a separate cleaning option. When combined with whitening, the surface of your teeth will become smooth and more beautiful. You can also choose the cleaning treatment as a standalone service.

How many times do I have to whiten my teeth to make them white?

Although the number of times varies between individuals depending on the person's age, the original color of their teeth, and the expected level of whiteness, there will be noticeable effects with one visit (1 to 3 light procedures). After that, you can choose how many times you want to whiten your teeth and how often depending on how much you want to whiten them.

How long is the whole treatment?

Including counseling, the first visit takes about 20 minutes for 1 LED light procedure, about 30 minutes for 2 light procedures, and about 40 minutes for 3 light procedures. Please be aware that there may be some additional waiting time.

Are there any risks or side effects?

No significant risks or side effects of whitening have been reported. However, your teeth may become hypersensitive or experience pain if you have cavities or fine cracks in the treated area. It will usually stop within 1 to 2 hours, or at most within 24 hours.

Please tell me about any eating restrictions after the treatment or other precautions.

Since we use our own coating, there are no dietary restrictions after the treatment.
You may eat or drink anything, including coffee, red wine, and curry.

I am wearing braces. Can I be treated?

We cannot treat people with an orthodontic appliance in the treatment area on the front of their teeth. We can treat people with lingual braces.

I have false teeth. Can I be treated?

We can provide treatment, but please note that it is not expected to properly whiten false teeth, dental crowns, or teeth with nerves removed.

Can I bring my children or pets with me?

For safety purposes, you may not bring anything that can move inside the treatment booth.
Children above a certain age will be asked to wait in the waiting room.
For hygiene purposes, animals are not allowed inside the clinic.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes. We accept various credit cards and PayPay QR code payments.
