Steve Hursh is a local entrepreneur, who has lived and owned businesses in Colorado for most of his life. Only a few years after studying business at Arapahoe Community College and Arizona State University, Steve started his first business in 1987 – Master Carpet Company. Over the next few decades, Steve grew Master Carpet as a one-man operation with a portable unit in a pickup truck, into a 22-truck fleet carpet cleaning business. In 1994, Steve founded another carpet cleaning company – Steam Pro. Steve expanded his expertise to duct and ventilation cleaning when Duct Pro joined Steam Pro’s operations in Littleton in 1997. In subsequent years, Steve has expanded his operations beyond Colorado with branches of Steam Pro and Duct Pro operating in Texas and Utah. In each of his businesses, Steve has enjoyed a supportive and an accepting work environment with the focus of not only his employee’s lives but also fostering the lives of individuals he has encountered.
