Wythe Care Veterinary Service, Inc. is excited to offer a new service to the Wythe County and surrounding areas! We are a veterinary clinic on wheels! We are able to bring the veterinary clinic to your front door! We can examine, diagnose, and treat your pets from your home. In fact, we can provide almost all services a traditional veterinary hospital can provide, without you having to leave home! Our services are especially suited for people who do not have transportation, dogs or cats that do not travel well, or become stressed by a visit to a traditional veterinary clinic, dogs who are large or unable to get into a vehicle easily, or terminally ill pets who would be more comfortable being treated at home.

UPCOMING EVENT:

The dog days of summer are upon us. Fortunately, the second annual Dog Days of Summer event in downtown Wytheville is something both you and your pets can look forward to! Come enjoy an evening of shopping, fun, and prizes all in a pet-friendly atmosphere on Saturday, August 19, from 4-8 p.m. on Main Street. The event will feature Wythe Care Veterinary Services, a mobile Veterinary unit that serves our area and surrounding counties, and a variety of other specials from local businesses. Participating downtown shops will have sales and Wythe Care Veterinary Service will be having giveaways throughout the evening. The street will be blocked off to provide owners and their pets a safe experience. So bring your four-legged pal and spend a sweet summer evening downtown together.

The event is organized by Dr. Trina Leedy, owner of Wythe Care Veterinary Service. It is the only mobile Veterinary unit in our area, serving Wythe and surrounding counties. The unit has state-of-the-art equipment and offers the same services as a traditional brickand-mortar office, such as surgery, x-rays, vaccines, and bloodwork. Additionally, Dr. Leedy is able to make house calls with the mobile unit, which is especially helpful for anxious pets, elderly owners, or for those who are unable to transport their pet to a facility.
