Welcome to the Big Moustache Family - your friendly neighborhood barbershop proudly serving the Halifax community since 2019. Our journey began just before the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic when two visionary immigrant entrepreneurs, hailing from India and Syria, came together to create something special. Despite the cultural differences and the challenges that come with them, they found a sense of belonging in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and decided to open their barbershop here.
The road was far from smooth, especially given the unprecedented times brought on by the pandemic. However, the unwavering support of the local community and the love we've received from the people of Halifax have been our pillars of strength. It's because of you that we've not only survived but thrived.
We're incredibly proud to have been recognized with two prestigious awards - Immigrant Entrepreneurs of the Year and Asian Heritage Entrepreneur of the Year. These accolades validate our commitment to serving you, our wonderful patrons.
From humble beginnings with just two owner-operated barbers, we've grown into a formidable team of 12 skilled barbers. We're delighted to announce that we've expanded our presence to Bayers Lake, making it even more convenient for you to experience our services.
