Do you think you could direct a 15-minute play”?

“Do you think you could direct a 15-minute play”? Asked Alex.
“Bread and butter my dear boy”, I replied. I just need to climb out from hiding under a big rock where I’ve been for the past 4 years. We spend the following hour throwing about ideas for plays which seemed to end up with Greek mythology. Later that evening in the shower, I thought that’s a bit dense, and then it hit me. A satirical comedy about International Development, like the one my Writer friend Anji had written as a pilot for British TV.

The best shepherd's pie I've had was here. Also excellent square sausages. The staff are lovely and it's also a theatre!

Great selection of local craft beers and a huge selection of boardgames! We stayed for a few drinks and a game. Service was really friendly! We loved the complimentary nuts that we got and the cute cat "Bar Cat" who came to visit later in the evening. It seemed that they had an excellent selection of food and comedy nights... I didn't get a chance to partake but love that they have those offerings!

Delicious food for when you fancy a taste from home. Prices are reasonable particularly when you taste the great quality products used! I’ve been twice this week (naughty)

Absolutely fantastic Sunday roast. We both had lamb & it was filling & flavoursome, exactly how a Sunday roast should be.On top of that a real cosy, inviting setting & friendly staff.Definitely one of the best places in Phnom Penh.

Fabulous bar right near our hotel. Anne and Paul are fabulous hosts and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Extensive craft beers on tap and a great menu. Traditional English fine fare, which is terrific when you need a break from local cuisine. Highly recommend you pop in when in this lovely city. Thanks for having us!

Came here on a hot Monday afternoon for a quick beer stop but the food selection was tempting so we ended up having good ol' fish and chips, spring rolls, and fish burger.Food was great (big portion!), and very nice service from the staff.Definitely recommending this place to everyone visiting Phnom Penh.
