What is your favorite thing about your career?

I love that I get to do something different every day. I also love getting to know new people and giving them the hair of their dreams! I love when I turn the chair around and see a huge smile come across their face. It’s the best feeling in the world!

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?

I think it would have to be either Nashville, TN or somewhere in Sweden. Nashville because I just love it there and I feel like you can explore something new there every day. Sweden because they get to take a whole month off work in the summer and there are no cockroaches.

What is your favorite book, show, or movie?

My favorite show is “Avatar The Last Airbender.” I rewatch it atleast once a year and it’s just as good every time.

Who/what is your spirit animal?

I’ve never really thought about what my spirit animal would be, but I’m just gonna go with a cat because I would just love to do nothing and sleep in comfy places all day!

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

This is a tough one, but I’m gonna have to go with boneless wings from Roosters and fried pickles with lots of ranch on the side. There is nothing that compares.

What 3 things would you take with you on a deserted island?

A book so I atleast have something to do, a huge box of matches so I can make fire, and a knife because it just seems like it would be useful.

What do you like to do in your free time, when you’re not in the salon?

I love to read, watch TV, spend time with my family, play games with my boyfriend, and cuddle with my dog!

What is your favorite thing about your career?

Apart from expressing my creativity, what I love most about being a hairdresser is the opportunity to connect with others. Through this profession, I’ve encountered not only incredible stylists, but also formed meaningful connections with the individuals who entrust me with their hair. I feel fortunate to have a job that allows me to build beautiful relationships with my clients.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?

I love Ohio. While there are plenty of places I would love to visit… I am very happy here where the commute is easy, we have all 4 seasons, and I am surrounded by my friends and family.

What is your favorite book, show, or movie?

I am a sucker for reality TV. “Sister Wives,” “90 Day Fiance,” “Teen Mom.” I also love a good drama like “Desperate Housewives” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”

Who/what is your spirit animal?

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pad Thai from Nida Thai Cuisine. (Our neighbors at the salon)

What 3 things would you take with you on a deserted island?

SPF, my family, and a charcuterie board.

What do you like to do in your free time, when you’re not in the salon?

I am a mother to a 3 year old who is learning so many things everyday. We do a lot of sensory play with kinetic sand and play-doh. We are always building, creating, or pretending. I have always had a passion for music and fashion. I think that plays a big role in where my path lead me to becoming a hairdresser. I am a huge Paramore fan, and at this point, that’s become a part of my personality. Being a teenager through the early 2000’s MySpace era had a big influence on my music/fashion inspiration. In my opinion, Hayley Williams has had some of the most iconic hairstyles throughout the last 2 decades.

What is your favorite thing about your career?

The opportunity to be creative and artistic while making connections with new people. Putting a smile on someone’s face is always the best feeling.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?

I’m not quite sure yet as I would definitely love to travel more, but probably somewhere up on a quiet mountain with great scenery and a big porch to spend my mornings and nights on.

What is your favorite book, show, or movie?

I’m a big horror junkie and quite the nerd. I love Stephen King novels and I’d have to say my favorite movie is “Howl’s Moving Castle.” From the art, to the magical story, I love Studio Ghibli films.

Who/what is your spirit animal?

Probably a common house cat.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Ohhhh that’s a hard one… Most Asian food really! It’s hard to go wrong with ramen.

What 3 things would you take with you on a deserted island?

My kitties, my boyfriend, and probably a hammock. Might as well enjoy being stuck!

What do you like to do in your free time, when you’re not in the salon?

I’m a bit of a homebody and love spending time with my 3 cats while trying a new craft every other week. From crocheting, to painting, to playing on my Nintendo Switch. When I’m not at home, I love to hike and travel with my partner and friends.

What is your favorite thing about your career?

I’d have to say my favorite thing about my career is the impact that my clients have on my life. I love creating and being able to change someone’s look, but seeing their reaction and the bond I get to have with each of my clients makes everything worth it.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?

I LOVE Nashville, Tennessee… It’s one of my favorite places to go! Most of my favorite musicians are from there and it’s just such an awesome place to visit. I usually go a few times a year!

What is your favorite book, show, or movie?

My favorite book is called “Jesusland: A Memoir.” I have a lot of favorite tv shows, but I’d have to say it’s between “Lost,” “United States of Tara,” and “Criminal Minds.” I am a giant movie buff, but I’m especially a sucker for horror movies and cheesy early 2000’s.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Probably chicken tikka masala and garlic naan!… Or tacos.

What 3 things would you take with you on a deserted island?

My dog, my cat, and stuff to paint!

What do you like to do in your free time, when you’re not in the salon?

I’m a pretty big homebody… I enjoy spending time with my pets, playing video games, painting, photography, and watching movies. Every once in awhile I enjoy going to shows and going out with my girlfriends!

What is your favorite thing about your career?

My absolute favorite thing to do behind the chair is create VIVID / RAINBOW hair! I actually really enjoy making new connections with people and getting the privilege to make people feel and look beautiful.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?

It’s hard to narrow down when there’s so many places I haven’t been to yet, but right now I would say either somewhere in the mountains in a beautiful cabin home or somewhere that’s sunny and warm all year round with a gorgeous view near the beach.

What is your favorite book, show, or movie?

I love anything with mystery, drama, and a little bit of romance! A few of my all time favorite shows are “Gossip Girl,” “The Vampire Diaries,” and “Jersey Shore.” I also love watching HGTV, anime, and trashy reality tv.

Who/what is your spirit animal?

Jackalope!

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Lately some good ole Spaghetti, but most likely chicken nuggets.

What 3 things would you take with you on a deserted island?

I’d take my pets, my boyfriend, and my bed.

What do you like to do in your free time, when you’re not in the salon?

I like to play video games, read books, and binge-watch all my favorite shows. I also love travelling when the opportunity presents itself.
