Our Story

Imagine, if you could, this feisty Yankee gal from Ohio moving to the isolated "hills and hollers" of the quaint little North Eastern area of Greenville County, South Carolina.

I remember when she opened her "Yankee Peach" Antique Store in Landrum, SC.  Just a small, quiet town--perhaps "Mayberry-esque" with a barber, antique shops, a local hardware store and an ice cream shop.

What she didn't know at that time was the mysterious history surrounding this area called "The Dark Corner".  How intriguing to find out the foreboding past includes hiding places for Confederate Soldiers during The Civil War coupled with a common illicit business enterprise for whiskey or "moonshine" distilling.

As her antiques business grew, she thought--What a better way to commemorate the "gem" that gives allure to this enticing darker corner area then by offering her own "Yankee Peach Moonshine"!!

So savor this sweet peach shine, even as this Yankee gal does--with a passion for peach and a hint of fascination for the South!
