Remember to stay alert and keep an eye out for these majestic creatures! If you encounter a moose on the trail, give it plenty of space and move slow or stop and back away, ensuring a safe and enjoyable ride for everyone.
BEARS
Although unlikely, you might come across a black bear on the trail. If you encounter one of these beautiful animals, stay calm and slowly back away while facing the bear to give them lots of space.

Trail Surface
The Tony Knowles Coastal Trail is a paved multi use trail, perfect for walking and biking! If passing other trail participants, please go left of them and give them plenty of notice with a friendly, “On your left!”
Trash Disposal
Trash cans are located along the trail, please help keep trails clean by only disposing of trash in designated bins.
Restrooms
The best spots to stop along your route would be Westchester Lagoon or Kincaid Outdoor Center (at Kincaid Park), or at Trek Bike Rentals - Anchorage before heading out on your adventure.

The Bontrager Cable Combo Lock that provides protection is included complimentary.
Mudflats
Local mudflats are created from glacier silt, and are often compared to quicksand. During low tide they may seem tempting to stroll on, however, these beautiful expanses are best when enjoyed from a safe distance.
FAQ
What is the cancelation policy?
Cancelations made more than 24 hours in advance of the scheduled pickup time are entitled to a full refunds. No refunds are given if reservations are canceled within 24 hours of the pickup time.
What happens if we return early?
If bikes are returned more than one hour early, we will reimburse for the unused time.
Can we can do multiple day rentals?
Multiple-day reservations are not available.
How old do I need to be to rent?
Must be at least 16 years of age to rent an e-bike.
Are there large group discounts?
Groups of five or more are entitled to a 10% discount.
