Would score a zero but have to score at least a 1 star to be able to write on here.
Worst experience we've had with a weekend break, customer service is horrendous. Any problems that arise complaints they blame yourself.. we had no gas during our stay and front door didnt shut or lock properly yet when we phoned there was no empathy, and they actually blamed us. Also filthy cutlery and crockery, took photos. Would defo stir clear. Convo has been screen shot for proof. They don't reply to emails and refused us a refund.

Disgusting .

Intended to stay for 4 weeks in a "lodge" at Beauport Park.
Lasted 20 hrs .
1066 refused to change the Matress on the bed it was heavily stained with human DNA and smelled disgusting, they attempted to cover the old matress with a matress topper which had dried sperm on . The whole place smelled of damp dog and cheesy feet , the smell was so bad I had to open all windows just to sit in there.
I had to buy my own bedding a throw to sit on the stinking sofa and £70 of cleaning products and spent the entire morning cleaning it still didn't make any difference to the god awful smell .
The property looked nice but not fit for humans .
If I can load the photos I will , if not I will load them to trip advisor and Google reviews .
1066 would not entertain any of it I did leave them half a bottle of fabreeze and left the matress on show so they could have a sleep on it as they did not seem to think there was anything wrong with it .

Terrible company.

Terrible company.
I asked them to come and check chemicals on my recently filled pool. The man came chatted mainly about life, he the. Took five minutes to test my pool told me he didn’t have the chemicals I needed to correct a minor level in alkalinity, and apart from that my pool was in perfect condition. He Advised what chemicals to buy and how much to add and left.
I did what was advised and ended up with a cloudy pool with levels of chemicals off the scale. I was at a loss what to do, and of course that is why I called them to get a better understanding of chemicals and care for my pool. I did ring them and after practically being called a liar, I was begrudgingly offered to have someone come out again, I refused and had to in the end empty my pool, as no amount of chemicals I added were going to help. Two weeks later they asked me for payment! The emails went on demanding payment even lying about how long they been there! even from their owner who was quite rude. Not even sorry…
I paid in the end to stop the stress of future emails. They didn’t care they just wanted money!
Horrid company, awful advice and service!
Id call someone else! Because when their advice goes wrong they don’t care!
Horrid rude company.

Nicest caravan we’ve ever stayed in.
Beautifully & tastefully decorated, lovely views with open fields backing onto main bedroom. Clean, modern & cosy.
Delicious smelling washing up liquid & shower gel with natural ingredients!
Will go back

A great park in lovely setting

Stayed in Gardens area which is not as picturesque as rest of park but great for kids as is near playground.
Slightly confused on arrival about how to access key with PIN number but worked it out in the end.
Professional and helpful staff especially in restaurant.
Great fishing lake full of easy to catch fish! Leisure facilities are £5 a head except for under 5s.

Clean, cosy and comfortable

Very surprised how beautiful the accommodation was, considering how cheap how stay was in the School holidays. It smelt nice and was comfortable and clean. Enough kitchen utensils and crockery/cutlery. Nice touches having an iron, hairdryer and beach chairs. Fab location as was in between pool and clubhouse and near beach. Thanks you will book again

Had a lovely stay in Park home lovely…

Had a lovely stay in Park home lovely decor and was clean. Had most amenities but would love to have had bin one more bin bag and some dishwasher liquid supplied but we just popped to local shops and got some.
Lounge or sitting area was large and spacious and rooms were good. There is a little room better suited to a child which was perfect for us (3 adults 2 children)
If going in summer bring some fans which we did otherwise amazing stay

Friendly staff and great location

I went to the Winchelsea Sands Holiday Park with some friends, and I highly recommend this place. The staff were super helpful, courteous and friendly. The caravan was cosy, cleaned and spacious.

Great location too! The caravan park is surrounded by stunning countryside views and located near the historic towns of Rye and Hastings, Winchelsea Sands, and the popular sandy beach of Camber Sands, easy to reach by bus, car or taxi.

It is the perfect weekend if you want to wind down and visit various interesting places.

Lovely stay at Willow

Lovely stay at Willow. Kitchen well equipped and clean. Beds were comfortable, perhaps offer two extra pillows for the main bedroom, so gives people the option to have extra if needed. Overlooking a little Childrens wooden play park, lovely and peaceful part of the park and only a short stroll over the the many facilities and clubhouse. No problem parking and was given a warm check in welcome and little welcome pack of tea/coffee/sugar/small toiletries. Nice little deck area outside and area kept very clean. Short stroll across to the beach and there’s an on site supermarket and local Indian delivery service. Good base to explore Rye, other coastal resorts and Lydd water and go park resort. We have rebooked again.

Lovely mobile home, customer support could be better. Spring clean needed

Lovely mobile home, but not happy paying 85£ for cleaning when this place is in a desperate need for a spring clean: dusty, dirty windows and windowsills, cobwebs, unhoovered under the beds, not enough beddings for stated people,etc.
Also having soap, salt&pepper in any self-catering accomodation is a must. Welcome pack consisting of sponge, 1 toilet paper and rubbish bag is a joke.
I loved the tranquill, close to nature atmosphere and the game of scrabble was a hit. There is a lot of potential in the home itself and great location. Hopefuly, next time will be managed and cleaned better. Customer support could be better.

Overall we had a very enjoyable week

Overall we had a very enjoyable week. Jorden entertained the grandchild very well though disappointing the characters were not in residence. Lifeguards were fun and restricted access to pool was managed well. Shop on site was reasonable and provided essentials with a nice smile. Bar food and drinks overpriced a little

We stayed at Coghurst Holiday park

We stayed at Coghurst Holiday park, the caravan was lovely, spacious and clean. Excellent amount of Kitchen utensils, and pans etc, also provided Linen, Towels, and a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, sugar, and scourer with washing up liquid. This was a really nice touch. Great location, and very comfortable. I will definitely book again! Thank You

Good place

Lovely accommodation, comfy beds, sofa and nice outdoor space, nice clubhouse/bar also. the issue we had was that our check in was for 12 and when we arrived everything was dirty from the previous guests. The cleaner did not arrive until 2 and when she did we was told to wait outside until everything was clean. Secondly we got lost when arriving on site as it is quite a big place and signposting isn’t great so definitely get a map from reception.

Nice caravan, not the best location

We loved the smooth transaction, clean cosy caravan, responsive to additional bedding request host.
Downside points - caravan itself is right on the corner of two roads by the entrance near reception and all traffic of service vehicles are passing by which makes it very noisy from early hours all day.

Not on first line of lake but across the road so distant lake view.
No wi-fi was a disappointment for teenagers.
Not much to do around entertainment wise.
Early check out 10am.
After booking and full payment, received email request to provide bank card for deposit never mentioned in ad.

Holiday

The van I stayed in cost over £500 for 7nights at coghurst Hall via 1066 .The van was a disgrace hole in ceiling of main bedroom spiders all over room. leaking window in main living area windows unsafe no restrictor to stop window opening wide granddaughter fell from window. Mould on all curtains in living area . Have Emailed 1066 numerous times Sent photos and video but they claim they didn't get them refused me a refund. Never again

Me and my partner just celebrated our…

Me and my partner just celebrated our 18th anniversary at this amazing caravan park "WINCHELSEA".. we was able to also take out two lovely dogs with us❤ which is a very rare occasion for us, as its hard to sometimes find dog friendly accommodation, especially last minute. The only one down side i would say is that we did not receive free WiFi, which was a bit of a let down, as we had limited access to TV function, and for the cost we paid, I think it should have been included. But other then this, we would definitely recommend and return...

Grandkids visit

New, clean and well decorated caravan. By only having 2 bedrooms the master bedroom was very large for a caravan and had a kingsize bed which was very welcome. The only drawback was the very cheap tv which seemed to make everything green! Probably would not have noticed but we spent more time in the caravan than normal due to the inclement weather. Overall it was a very comfortable stay

Bad cleaning, noisy in the morning

Wonderful area at the Beach, but the cleaning of the property was very bad, we started to clean the first hour we were there, could be helpful if a hover was available. Too Many seagulls, very noisy early in the morning. It could maybe partially resolved if campers

Good afternoon,
Sorry to hear you were not completley happy with your stay. Unfortunately we have no control over the noise issues. As our properties are located close to the sea there will be a fair few seagulls about.
Caravans are built to standard and again we are unable to do anything to insulate properties.
As for the clean, we were able to get a cleaner back out to the property to go over the carpets. Please accept my appologise.

Stayed at 26 Sussex Park, Camber Sands

Stayed at 26 Sussex Park, Parkdean Resort Camber Sands for short overnight stay with a friend and our children. Booked via Booking.com
Park clean, neat and tidy with lots to keep kids happy and caravan situated in perfect position - nice and quiet, close to beach and short walk to main on-site facilities.
Veranda lovely for enjoying weather and having evening drink.
Caravan nicely presented and spacious overall.
Looked like been unused for a while since last clean - build up of dust in few places, dead spiders in bowl on table and shower area could do with a bit of a deeper clean.
En-suite welcome edition for 2 families sharing however, would be helpful to have loo roll in both toilets - only 1 in main bathroom not helpful for 7 people.
Knobs on gas cooker need replacing as no longer fit properly so potentially dangerous; I woke up to discover oven still alight from previous evening, even though we had turned knob to the off position.

Super clean and tidy and perfect…

Super clean and tidy and perfect caravan. Spotless everywhere, super linen and just perfect for our short break away! Communication throughout was great too and key collection and was a lovely location perfect for beach, shop, pub, walk, clubhouse, pool. 10/10
