As always a friendly welcome

As always - a very friendly welcome by the receptionist x The reception area is lovely and clean and fresh.
My podiatrist - Gemma is very efficient, experienced, warm but very professional. She always gives very helpful advice and I feel so comfortable after my treatment like I'm walking on air! xx
I would like to highly recommend Stepwise for an amazing service xxx

Had a great consultation at Stepwise with Sarah

Had a great consultation with Sarah. I went in with painful hard skin on both feet in different locations. I came out pain free and with happy feet and trimmed toenails!! I can't recommend the treatment Sarah gave me highly enough, it was 5*+, I've already booked a follow on appointment and look forward to seeing Sarah again, I now plan to maintain my feet regularly with Stepwise, and Sarah in particular.

I regularly take my 95 year old father…

I regularly take my 95 year old father in law to the Woolston surgery, every time he is looked after so well, he has dementia and can barely walk but they make sure he gets very good treatment

Happy Customer

I have been going to Stepwise in Woolston for nearly a year now and am very happy with the service I receive from Darren.
Today I saw Sarah for a more in depth consultation because I have been experiencing a lot of pain. She was very thorough and provided me with peace of mind concerning what is going on with my foot and provided a course of action going forward. I am immensely grateful as the pain has been dreadful.
I am very happy taking my business to Stepwise.
James on reception is lovely, very efficient and thorough.
It is so good to attend somewhere these days that you feel the staff care and are all working towards the same end, helping the customer.

Happy customer

Sarah and the team were very professional, helpful and friendly. Sarah sorted my stubborn verruca which I am very pleased about. I would highly recommend Stepwise.

Now pain free

Now pain free! Big thanks to the Darren at stepwise. I called up and took a cancelation for the week, was seen at their Woolston branch 22/11/23 & now my corn and hard skin is sorted. Feeling much better now & very fair pricing. Many thanks again.

Simply Excellent

I had a painful corn which was dealt with quickly and with the utmost professionalism. I can’t thank the team at Stepwise enough for helping me. I’m grateful they managed to fit me in…. Very reasonably priced too when compared to other clinics I called.

Stepwise Home Visits

Darren from Stepwise provided a home visit today for my mum. She was very happy with the service provided and also the receptionist who did the booking was very efficient. She is already looking forward to her next visit. Thanks again

2 years of pain fixed

After 2 years of pain with no success with physio,chiropractor or private doctors,sarah fixed me in just 3 sessions..she has also treated 4 other family members and everyone has been amazed by her treatment and personality.sarah is an angel on earth!

Friendly, professional service

Really good experience being treated by Sarah. She explained everything clearly and was very friendly. Dealt with my verruccas after a few visits which was expected (and explained up front). Would very much recommend using Stepwise

Excellent service

Excellent service. Poppy & Erin are amazing, make you feel comfortable. Poppy advised me to have the nail surgery & how right she was. I have suffered from in growing toenails now for 35 years, and never been advised before to undergo the surgery. Poppy made me feel comfortable in the decision & I now wish I had done this earlier as I now know what it feels like to walk pain free thanks to the team at Stepwise.

OPEN YOUR WALLET OR GET DUMPED!

If you get dumped from the books by a company that rates profit over their client list, you simply cannot give more stars.

I was fobbed off with proffered details of other companies, this was obviously 'padding' because i am quite capable of checking Google myself.

A joke! Rather not for 'all.' but for a select few, that can afford their increased prices!

i understand the need for profits in business, but this should not be at the expense of a targeted, existing customer base.

They knew I was still experiencing painful problems following their last / final visit, this was never followed up, not even with a phone call. Rather i received an email telling me i'd been removed from their books, obviously in favour of those booking more frequently. (they now advertise every 4/6 weeks)

So approx / around £600 per year for a basic appointment, around 30 minutes.

Any excuse they may respond with, could never make up for the pain i'm still in months later, or the way i've been treated!

Shame on them.

Actually, I am saddened that your very speedy response, here at least, contains inaccuracies designed to make my review look like I am lying.

For example, no appointment at your premises was offered as a follow-up or a correctional appointment, and even if it had, you well know that I am housebound. Plus, when I did call to make an appointment, I was forced to make them three months in advance!

If you look again at my truthful review you will note that it contains absolutely nothing at all about your operative, (skills, time length, or discussions) with whom I had no issue, so I am not sure why your unnecessarily lengthy reply contains information, (some very private and personal) irrelevant to my critical review, which has obviously left you feeling quite defensive.

Notwithstanding data protection issues, how can you say you  "provide a thorough and professional service?".  An obvious  contradiction in terms.

You say "we continued to try and contact you by phone".  Actually, it was me that called your company. 

Your reply is a shameful narrative in overemphasizing the clinic's superiority while ensuring the reader sees a damning vision of my character.

The bottom line is that I was not totally pain free following my last appointment with you (whatever you'd like to believe) and I WAS dumped from your client list.
Making it clear, you said, that my less than monthly visits were not enough to make higher financial figures for your business.

I respect your thoughts and views and am genuinely saddened that Stepwise has not been able to help you on this occasion. Whilst I appreciate you do not require our further help because of how you feel your care has been handled, we do work closely with many local clinics and whilst I know you are able to Google search, as you previously mentioned, sometimes for what it's worth, recommendations are a good thing..

Dear Susanne thank you for taking the time to let us know how you feel. However we are saddened that after our home visit to you in August where our practitioner was with you for 1.5 hours ensuring you were comfortable and pain free that even though you phoned and left a lovely telephone review complimentary of the practitioners help and service you had received that day, that several weeks later, you then called to inform us you were having issues. We did offer you further help at the time to attend our clinic to see if we could make you more comfortable but sadly this was refused. And we continued to try and contact you by phone and then email when we couldn't reach you by phone, to try and assist further with both advice and alternative options of appointments in clinic, as this was in fact sooner than waiting for a further home visit, which we knew was preferable but that would have been weeks away. But again sadly you were unable to attend. We do always try our upmost for all our patients and have a great team here at Stepwise who continue to look after and provide a thorough and professional service to hundreds of returning patients each year. We have been established for over 25 years and we thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings with us, so that we can continue to learn and develope still further; and consider if there was anything else we could have done to help you more, than we had already offered. I can't rate them highly enough!

Without the help of Sarah and her team, I'm not sure how I would have coped over the past few years with various health issues that have affected both my feet and knees. I wasted a lot of time going to the GP and even the hospital which basically just advocated painkillers.

In my opinion, Sarah treats patients with the same kindness and understanding as she would her own family. Her "bedside" manner immediately puts one at ease, and having had, on a couple of occasions, been seen by two members of her team, it has made me realise her work ethos and values are not just hers alone, but the foundations that her clinics are based upon.

I have recommended Sarah and her practice many, many times, to many many people over the years and take great pleasure in doing so on here too.

Very glad to see that Stepwise is expanding to help even more people and I wish her and her team all the very best for the future!
