Seeking reputable electronics repair shop for air purifier. Hello neighbors. I have a tower Honeywell air purifier I got from Boscov's a few years ago. It has worked well but was making a noise last night so I took out the filters and used a flashlight to peek inside. It looks like there is a box towards the top of the filter that has wires in it that popped out of place and landed in where the fan turns. When I flipped the purifier on its side and ran it, I did not hear the noise. The wire box looks like it was held in place either with a clip or a twist tie. So it looks like a quick repair if someone can take a peek. Most places have refused the repair. The few that will consider are charging $50 to $60 minimum just to look at it.
